"hey y/n," her voice was cheerful and full of happiness. i bit my lip and prayed that she didn't know anything about Shawn and me.

"Hey Chloe." I said.

"Do you want to come over? Shawn and I are watching a movie together and want to know if you wanted to come over." My eyes widened when I heard his name.

"I would, but I have plans with my mom. Maybe tomorrow." I lied.

"Oh okay, well have fun with your mom. Bye." She said.

"Bye." I said before hanging up the phone. I laid back down on the pillow and sighed. I have to tell her, I can't keep this a secret anymore.

•Shawn's pov
My knee bounced up and down. my arm wrapped around her small body as she laid on my chest. I have to tell her, I can't keep this a secret.

"Chloe," she lifted her head off my chest and looked at me with her big blue eyes, "I have to tell you something." she sat up and looked at me confused.

I took a deep breath, "I kissed y/n, and I'm so sorry, but I can't keep my feelings for her inside anymore. I shouldn't of led you on like this, but I think we need to break up." I waited for her reaction.

"It's okay Shawn," I looked at her confused and shocked, "I shouldn't of dated you when I knew she liked you, and I should of realized that you liked her. Now," she pulled me off of the couch, "go tell her how you feel."

I was washing dishes when I heard the doorbell ring. I dried off my hands and walked to the door. I was shocked to see Shawn here.

"I like you y/n, I have for a while. I should of told you sooner, but I was scared because I thought you wouldn't feel the same way, but last night things changed. I broke up with Chloe because I had a feeling that maybe the feelings between us are mutual." Shawn said looking at me with sadness and hope in his eyes. I closed the small space between us by placing my lips on his. His lips moved in sync with mine. His hands rested on my hips, my hands made their way up to his hair.

"The feelings are mutual." I said once we pulled away. He smiled and kissed me again.
