Shawn's pov:
As soon as I heard the news I collapsed. "She only remembers thing that have a happened a few years ago." My eyes filled with tears. She won't remember all the dates, the 'I love you's', she won't remember our relationship. She will only remember our friendship, since we were friends since we were 6.

"Shawn?" Her eyes landed on me as soon as I walked into the room.

"What's going on?" She asked confused. I took a deep breath and sat down beside her.

"You were in a car wreck," her eyebrows knitted together in confusion, "unfortunately the crash caused you to forget everything that has happened in the last couple of years." She looked away and just stared down at her hands. "The doctors say that there is a 95% chance that you will regain your memory a little at a time." I said as I grabbed her hand. I rubbed small shapes on her hand as she processed what I said.

It's been 2 months since the wreck. Y/n's memory is coming back a little which is good, but she still doesn't remember our relationship. I was currently sitting on the couch in y/n's living room. She had went upstairs to get dressed since we were going to go grocery shopping.

"Shawn," I looked up to see her holding a picture frame in her hand. I stood up and walked over to her. I looked down at the photo of us kissing in front of a waterfall. "We were a couple." She said in realization. Her voice was shaky as she spoke. I looked down at my hands. "Shawn, we were a couple." I nodded my head and looked up at her. "It all makes since to me now." Her lips curved into a smile. "Why didn't you tell me?" She asked placing her hands on my arms.

"I was afraid to. I was scared that you wouldn't believe me, or-." She cut me off by placing her lips onto mine softly. I pulled her close and kissed her lips that I have craved for so long.
