Nail polish

I looked down at my chipped black nail polish and sighed. I hated painting my nails, but it was so expensive to get them done. I walked into the bathroom to see if I had any bottles of nail polish. Just my luck, I didn't. I decided that this was an opportunity to get out of the house, so I grabbed my car keys and walked out to my car.

I pulled into the target parking lot beside a black jeep. I locked my car and made my way into the store. I walked to the beauty aisle to find the various options of nail polish. My eyes scanned over the colorful paints, until they landed on the shiny black bottle. It was on the very top shelf, so I had to stand on my tippy toes. A hand brushed across mine sending shivers down my spine. I looked to my right to see a boy with dark brown hair, gray sweatpants, and a black t-shirt on. He was very attractive to be honest.

"You looked like you needed a little help," he said with a small smile revealing his perfectly straight teeth. I laughed a little and took the nail polish he was handing to me.

"Thanks." I said looking up to meet his brown eyes.

"So I kinda need a little help," he said rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Okay," I said softly.

"My little sister started her period and I don't know what to do." I laughed softly and shook my head.

"How old is she?" I asked.

"13." He answered. I nodded my head and told him to follow me. I on the glossy tile to the aisle that had all the feminine products.

"Give her these, some ibuprofen, and some chocolate and you'll make the worlds best brother." I said handing him the box of pads. He laughed softly and took the box from my hands.

"Thank you." He said relived.

"No problem, glad I could help." I said before turning to walk away.

"Wait," he said causing me to stop in my tracks. "What's your name?" He asked walking in front of me.

"Y/n, what's yours?" I asked.

"Shawn."
