i looked out of the clean glass window to see the tall building in front of me, cars bumper to bumper on the street, and people walking down the sidewalk.
i smiled and said, "I'll take it."
The woman beside me grabbed a piece of paper and handed me a pen, "excellent, I just need you to sign a few papers and then it'll be final." I took the paper that was clipped to a clipboard and the black ink pen from her hands. I read over the papers before signing my signature and handing it back to her.
As we were walking out of the apartment the door opened. I looked up from the hardwood floor to see a face I never thought I would see again.
