I ran my fingers through my messy hair in frustration. I've been so stressed lately with the kids, and work. I can never find enough time for either of them. "Mommy can we watch a movie?" My 5 year old daughter asked. I looked into her hopeful eyes and sighed.

"Not right now baby, maybe daddy will watch a movie with you." She bowed her head and walked away in disappointment. My heart broke at the sight, I wish there was something I could do to make her understand. "Mommy just busy, I'll watch a movie with you." I heard my 14 year old son say to Y/D/N. I smiled at him as he walked into the living room to find a movie.

"Thank you." Y/S/N looked up at me and smiled.

"Your welcome, I know how it's been with dad being gone and work, so I thought I should help. Plus I won't have to play dollies with her tonight." He whispered the last part. I laughed.

"Did your dad call you?" I asked curiously.

"No, but he texted me saying he would call me after his show in Dallas." He looked disappointed.

"Hey, don't worry he will. He always does." I assured him. He just nodded his head and walked into the theater room. I sighed and returned to my work.

"Daddy?" I looked up and saw my husband hugging our children. I walked into the room cautiously, trying my best not to make and noise.

"I missed you guys so much." He smiled.

"We missed you too, especially mom." Y/S/N said. Shawn looked up at me with glossy eyes. I smiled as he engulfed me into a warm hug. When we pulled away Shawn placed his lips onto mine.

"Yeah, uh we are going to finish our movie now." Y/S/N said awkwardly turning on the balls of his feet to walk back.

"What are you guys watching?" Shawn asked excitedly.

"Princess and the frog, do you want to watch it with us?" Y/D/N asked. Shawn picked her up and spun her around.

"I would love to." He said looking at her with a goofy smile. "Mind if I join?" I asked ruffling my sons hair.

"Of course not, there is plenty of room for you guys." He said smiling. Shawn carried
Y\D/N on his back into the theater. This made me realize that family is more important than any work, or anything. My husband, and two kids are all I need.
