"No, no I have the most embarrassing moment." Shawn raised an eyebrow.

"Oh really?" He said smiling.

"Yes, I was in seventh grade, it was my first day at my new school and I had just got my lunch tray. I was trying to find somewhere it sit when a girl came up to me and threw her mashed potatoes on me. Everyone was laughing and pointing. I was known as potato girl until freshman year." I said before eating a piece of popcorn.

"Potato girl." Shawn was laughing hysterically. I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Okay, okay." I said picking up the empty popcorn bowl and getting up.

"Hey," Shawn said softly before grabbing my hand. A spark went throughout my body when I felt his skin on mine. I was startled by the feeling.

"I won't leave you alone again." his lips curved into a warm smile. My hand fell from his grip as he let go. he walked up the stairs into his room and closed the door. I stood there clutching the empty glass bowl to my chest as I wondered what just happened.

"do you want to go down to the beach with me?" I asked Shawn as I grabbed an apple.

"Uh," he looked frightened.

"What? Are you scared or something?" I asked before taking a bite out of the crisp red apple.

"Sort of. I don't like the ocean." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh, well you don't have to get in the water." I suggested as I opened the refrigerator door.

"Okay, I'll go." Shawn went upstairs to change and I waited downstairs and checked my phone.

Dylan- hey, I had fun the other night, do you want to get some dinner tonight?

I bit my lip and thought about it.

"Ready?" Shawn asked. I looked up to see Shawn in black swimming shorts, and his shirtless body showed his toned abs.

"Yea." I said grabbing my water and phone.

"I'm going to go out to the water," his eyes were filled with fear, "I'll be right back." I assured.

"Okay, I'm going to go get a drink." He said standing up. There was a small bar type thing down the beach, so I knew he wouldn't be far. I was letting the cool water hit my body when I realized that Shawn and I haven't fought in almost a whole day. I had the smallest hope that maybe Shawn and I could become closer.

"There's a fight!" I looked over to see a group of people surrounding some guys. When I got a better look I realized who they were.

Shawn's pov:
"Oh yeah man, y/n she so hot. And she's got an ass man." I looked over to see that guy y/n was with talking to some group of guys. I clenched my jaw and tried to ignore it.

"I'm hoping tonight we'll go all the way." Something came over me. My body lunged forward at him tackling him to the ground. I had one hand having a handful of his shirt, and the other colliding with his face.

"Shawn," I could hear her sweet voice from behind me. My whole body went numb when I saw her. All of a sudden my body hit the hard sand and my jaw burned like fire. He was pulled off of me and I was lying there until y/n came over to me. She helped me up on my feet and walked me back to the house.

I sat on the bathroom counter so that y/n could help me with my cuts.

"This might hurt a little," she said softly. She brought a rag up to my forehead, I winced in pain when it met my cut.
"Sorry." I watched as she focused on my forehead. The way she bit her lip, when her eyebrows knitted together. Her eyes met mine sending chill bumps over my body. There was a small space. between us. I closed the small space between us by placing my lips on hers. I moved my hands down to her waist as hers made their way to my hair. Our lips moved together perfectly. It felt like everything was finally perfect.

"Shawn? Y/n?" We both jumped back.

"Shit." I mumbled under my breath and hopped off the counter.

"Hey mom, Mrs. y/l/n." I said to my mom and y/n's mom.

"Hi, Shawn. Where's y/n?" Y/n's mom asked.

"Oh, she's just cleaning up the bathroom. She had to help me with my cuts." I explained.

"What happened?" My mom asked as if she was just now noticing them.

"I fell." I lied.

She looked unconvinced but just said, "so what about the rooms?" Realization hit me. There are only two rooms.

"Um, there's only two rooms, but I could sleep on the couch." I offered.

"Oh that's nonsense, you and y/n can share a room." Her mom said.

My eyes widened, "oh," I swallowed hard, "okay."
