i pulled back the comforter revealing the silky sheets. the other side of the bed where Shawn usually lays is neatly made. i sighed and climbed into the bed. I put my phone on the charger and tried to fall asleep without the warmth from Shawn making me feel safe.

Shawn's pov:
I ran my hands over my face as i sighed. I was currently sitting in the office downstairs while y/n slept upstairs by herself. I feel like me and her are becoming distant. We barely talk anymore, kiss, cuddle, I miss the couple we used to be.

I walked up the stairs to our shared bedroom. I opened the door to see her tossing and turning restlessly.

"Y/n," i said softly to see if she was asleep. When she didn't respond I figured she was. i grabbed some sweatpants and underwear before walking into the bathroom. the hot water ran down my body fogging up the bathroom.

i stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist. i brushed my teeth, got dressed, and then walked out of the bathroom.
i climbed into bed beside y/n and wrapped my arms around her waist. her eyes fluttered open to look up at me.

"im sorry shawn." she said softly.

"don't be baby." i said kissing her softly.

"i shouldn't of kept pushing you away, i was just scared." she admitted.

"scared of what?" i asked confused.

"shawn," she took a deep breath, "im pregnant."

my mind was racing with thoughts. she's pregnant.

"don't be scared." i said softly.

"we're going to be parents." A smile formed on my lips.

"you're not worried?" she asked sitting up.

"no, baby." i assured.

"and you're not mad?" She asked scared.

"No, i love you." I said kissing her lips softly.

"we're going to be great parents." she said hugging me. I smiled and kissed her cheek.

"yes we will."

Whoever marries Shawn wins at life.
