I brushed out my beautiful daughter's brown hair. I hummed a soft melody as she played with her doll in her hand. "Mommy?" She turned her head and looked up at me. "How did you and daddy meet?" She asked curiously.

[Flashback]

It was a Saturday night, and I was going to spend the evening watching movies. I looked through the cabinets in the kitchen for some junk food like, chips or candy, but I couldn't find anything. "Mom I'm going to the store!" I yelled as I grabbed my car keys. "Okay, be safe." She said from the stairs. I walked out to my car, and got in. I put the key into the ignition and backed out of the driveway. I pulled into the parking lot of the grocery store, and got out of my car. I locked  the doors and then walked into the store. I got a shopping cart and made my way to the junk food aisle. A bag of barbeque chips were at  the very top of the shelf preventing me from grabbing them. I stood on my toes and  tried my best to reach them, but I couldn't. I felt someone's hand brush across mine as they grabbed the a bag of chips. "Here you go." A very tall boy with brown hair and brown eyes said handing me the bag. I smiled, "Thank you." I put them in the cart and turned to walk away. "Do you know where the muffins are?" He asked causing me to stop walking. I turned around and said, "On aisle 9." He thanked me and walked past me. "Oh and one more thing," He said turning around, "What's your name?" He asked. "Y/n." I smiled.

[Flashback over]

"Well I needed a bag of chips, but I was too short to reach them so your daddy grabbed them for me." I explained. "That's it? He didn't ask for your name, or ask you on a date?" I laughed a little, "I helped him find his muffins, and he asked for my name, a couple weeks later I ran into him at the grocery store, and he asked me for my number. That's how it all started." I said putting the hair tie around her hair.
