My four year old daughter laid in my husbands lap. I watched as he played with her light brown hair. She rubbed her eyes and yawned. I looked at the clock and noticed that it was 9:30 pm. "I think it's almost bedtime." I said pushing her hair out of her face. She nodded her head slowly, and climbed out of Shawn's lap. Shawn and I got up from the couch and walked up to Abby's room. (I'm just using a random name bc it will be easier.) she climbed into her bed and waited for Shawn to pull the princess comforter over her small body. "Goodnight princess." Shawn said kissing her forehead. I walked behind Shawn and kissed her forehead also. "Goodnight baby." I whispered before I walked to her door. I turned the light off, and walked out of the room. I leave her door open because she says that she likes to listen to the tv downstairs. Shawn and I walked back downstairs. Shawn sat down on the couch, and I laid down on him. I put my head on his knee and scrolled through Instagram as he ran his fingers through my hair. I saw that Shawn tagged me in a picture.

I smiled and looked up at him. He looked down at me, and leaned down. His lips met mine. "I love you so much." He whispered against my lips. "I love you too." I said before kissing him. I turned my phone off and watched tv. I found myself drifting off to sleep to the sound of the tv, and Shawn messing my hair up. Thought this was kind of sweet and cute.
