"Then maybe we shouldn't be together." The words rolled off my tongue without me thinking about them. I remember the way I saw her eyes flash with hurt. It was like I could see her heart break in front of me. "Maybe we should." She grabbed her purse and walked past me. I stood there, frozen in my spot. I heard the door slam shut and that's when I broke down. My eyes let the tears fall down my face, and a loud sob passed my lips. It was all my fault. Now here I am seeing her laugh and smile with a different guy. Their hands were intertwined together as they walked down the sidewalk. She looked happier. "And that's when I moved here." I looked at the woman in front of me and smiled. "Wow." I didn't have any clue what she said, I just said something to make it seem like I was listening. That's when she walked passed me. Her eyes met mine causing her smile to fade. She looked away quickly and smiled at the guy. I took a sip of my drink and tried to focus on my date. "What can I get you guys to eat?" Our waiter asked stopping at our table that was outside.

Y/N POV:
His voice was deeper than Shawn's, his hair was too messy, his teeth weren't straight and perfect like Shawn's, and he definitely wasn't Shawn. "That's when I decided that I needed to become a doctor." I smiled and let my eyes drift away from his. My heart stopped when they stopped on him. It can't be Shawn. My smile faded, and my face turned pale. I looked away from his eyes quickly, and met my date's eyes. What's his name again? Brandon, that's it. We walked by his table, and as we did it felt like my feet wanted to stop right there and my body wanted to land in his arms. I saw the way his new girlfriend and him looked at each other, he looked happier.
