"Pagkatapos ng kasal ni Tiffany uuwi na ko ng Davao"

Nilingon ako ni Anton sa sinabi ko.

"Iuuwi mo si Erysha don?"

Tumango ako saka pinagpagtuloy ang pag iimpake.

"Ilang araw?" Tanong nya.

Umiling ako. "Hindi ko alam"

Tumango sya.

"Hindi mo naman ginagawang escape yon di ba?"

Napatigil ako sa ginagawa ko saka nilingon si Anton.

"Escape?"

Binaba nya din ang hawak nyang damit saka umupo sa kama.

"You know. Xander's wedding and all?"

Yes. Xanders getting married in three months time. Yan ay ayon sa girlfriend nyang si Irina.

Irina Segovia happens to be Grace's cousin and a daughter of a senator too.

We are leaving for Bantayan tomorrow and Erysha will stay at my parent's house. It should be at Seth's but Mom insisted. Sa kanya daw muna si Erysha.

"Anton, its all in the past" saway ko sa kanya.

"I know. I just cant help but wonder.
Will you be like this had you accepted his proposal and married him? Hmm?"

Napabuntong hininga nalang ako saka umiling.

"Lets stop talking about Xander, please. The guy has his own life now. Wag na tayong makigulo. And besides he's getting married. Of all the mistakes i did in the past. I think this one is the best mistake that i did. Let him go"

Umupo ako saka tinignan na si Anton.

"Look at him, Anton. Just look at him. He's successful and someone so much better than me took the place of being his beloved fianceé. The one i never did. The one i ran away from. He's better off without me. Mas magandang wala ako sa buhay nya. I'm just a big mistake in his goddamnly perfect life" balewalang sabi ko.
