We finally moved into a (much much) better roooom!

Today was our final day of living at our 'lovely' hotel. We got up, quickly got packed and left after a little commotion. Goodbye lovely room. You will be missed. Not.

As usual, I slept all the way until we reached our new hotel. Damn, this hotel is grand! Everything here is 50 times better than our previous hotel be it the organisation, staff, reception, rooms, amenities, everything. Even though we had to wait for our rooms to get ready here as well, I didn't mind it cause there was so much to see and there was a TV to pass time to.

Our rooms look so good! My parents have one room to themselves and Alex and I have one for ourselves with a connecting door in the middle. The bathrooms have a cool blue light which I loved. The view from our rooms isn't that great but the room compensates for it.

We got settled in our rooms and didn't go sightseeing today. We were busy enjoying the feel of our rooms. But after sometime I felt like going out. I mean come on. We have so much to explore now that we're in the city. Mom and Alex weren't up for it, so Dad and I went for a walk, after exploring the hotel.

It was pretty hot outside but I didn't care. After walking for a while we spotted a supermarket where we bought instant noodles and other snacks. On the way back, Dad decided to buy food from a take away outlet of the restaurant we went to two days back, which was very close to our hotel. Hyderabadi food galore!

Then the rest of the afternoom/evening we chilled for a while afterwhich I again felt restless and felt the need to go out. Mom had woken up from a good sleep so she felt fresh but Alex was still not in the mood. I think it had something to do with the hotel WiFi.

But anyways, Mom, Dad and I went for a late evening walk along the same path as we had in the afternoon. Our idea was to find a mall nearby so we could spend some time there. But we couldn't find one. We instead went to a popular Hyderabadi sweets shop and shopped for a lot of sweet snacks.

We decided to play a prank on Alex mainly because he was lazing around when he wasn't supposed to. He had told us that if we found a mall, he would come there. I called him up and told him to meet us at a mall which was fairly at a distance from our hotel. He got all ready to go out, only to find us outside the hotel room. Hahaha his expression was hilarious!

For dinner, Alex and I went to a local Chinese restaurant to order takeaways. Since we didn't get extra plates from the desired shop, we took it from a roadside Chinese shop. I cannot forget the look on the street vendor's face when he first saw us with a Chinese take out and when all that we asked for were a few plates!

We've had our dinner now and I'm more than ready to crash into this soft bed.

Tomorrow is New Year's Eve and we've still not decided what we're going to do.

Hopefully it'll be fun.
