I can't stay angry with people who are close to me so ofcourse when Nova asked if we could meet, I made time for her.

I'm glad I did.

Today I woke up at about 8:15 AM and was immediately greeted by Sia and Niomi. They had come to our building because of the annual cricket match that I'm never going to be a part of. I like watching cricket but I not playing it.

Apparently everyone was supposed to meet by 8:30 AM but Alex was still alseep. The three of us woke him up and the two of them ordered him to get ready and meet him downstairs as fast as he could. We all share a sibling kind of bond.

Our building is quite small. Infact it's the smallest of our lane. But ever since we moved here, and when a few of them hadn't moved out, people from other lanes as well came to play at ours.

This is why Sia and Niomi had taken it upon themselves to ask our neighbours to move their cars if they wanted it dent-free. They were the perfect candidates since they had moved out and everyone would be happy to see them back. You probably don't understand what I'm saying but this is how my society works. (Pun intended? Maybe) People don't give a shit about you when you live here. You get their attention only when you've moved out.

Anyways, I had other plans so I met them, along with a few others downstairs and then left for Nova's apartment. It took me about 45 mins to reach there because of my walk-train-walk travel preference. I reached at 10, which is exactly what we had planned.

She apologized for canceling our plan at the last moment and we quickly moved on. Nova is a feminist so it is always interesting to talk about serious 'society' topics with her, including the ongoing 'Triple Talaq' debacle. We also spoke about our studies and careers, our college experiences and funny incidents. We spoke about being nuns and not being nuns.

Nova is more of an outgoing, proactive type of person and I'm the complete opposite. That is why we love talking to each other and get different perspectives about various topics and situations. And the most important thing is that we both completely respect each others views.

I left from there at about 12:45 PM cause I needed to be back home for lunch. I called my mom and she told me that the others (as in the cricket players) were just going for their obligatory after-match lunch and asked me if I wanted to join them. And so I did.

They had initially planned to go to a Chinese restaurant but it was shut so we just went to the nearby Mc Donalds. It was fun! Even though the entire group wasn't present, all of us hadn't met for a really long time so it was good catching up. These are a set of people who I'm sure are never going to be awkward to talk to because we've grown up together.

Ha, who am I kidding?

After lunch, we ate icreams and then went out separate ways. Not before discussing a major 10+ people sleepover coming up on the 30th.

Met quite a lot of people today. My social life is doing GREAT!
