Skylar So today is me and Keith's anniversary and honestly I think he forgot. We have been dating for 4 years now but have known each other since we were 14. But I guess today I will just go on with the day.
Keith So I didn't come home last night. Don't get it twisted I wasn't cheating I was at my mom's house planning. So I got home around 8 this morning just to see how she would act. "Where the hell you been all night" she was laying on the couch watching Netflix. "Oh hey baby"
"Don't hey baby me where were you"
"I was with my mom"

"Because I wouldn't lie about being with my mom"

"Here call her" I handed her my phone to call my mom. And my mother confirmed it. "So you believe me now"

"Get up and get dressed please"

So she got dressed and I changed clothes and we went to the mall. I bought her some stuff and we went back home. I left to go make sure everything was set up and I told her to get ready for tonight because it's gonna be a special night. I went to the restaurant and made sure my reservations were set then I grabbed my suit from the cleaners and I picked up something else. I went back home and she wasn't ready yet. I put on my suit and waited in the living room. She finally came downstairs wearing the outfit I bought her

"Come on let's take a walk" she pulls me out of my seat and we walked along the beach. I felt my nerves hit me right in the chest. I guess she could tell I was nervous about something because we both stopped walking. "Baby what's wrong" she asks me.
"So I met you in 8th grade the shy new girl that just moved from Mississippi. You knew nothing about Sacramento. When I first saw you I acted a complete fool and made a complete fool of myself because well I never knew how to tell a girl I liked her so I cracked jokes you know and I did it all because my first thoughts when I saw you were "I gotta have this girl she's gonna be mine for sure I'm going to marry this girl" basically I ramble on to say Skylar I'm completely in love with you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you Will you marry me"
I was down on my knee with the ring in my hand at that very moment I realized how much sand hurts.
