41) Breakdown

Keith
Me and Rissa were arguing yet again. "Why don't we just end it here" she blurted. "End what"

"This relationship we can't seem to even get along anymore" she says with tears forming in her eyes. "Do you want to"

She shook her head no. "Maybe we could just take a break. It could help us" I said. She said nothing back. I went to our room and packed a few of my things then I left.

Rissa
Why did I say that? I don't want us to be over. I only argue with him because my hormones. I think I lost him. As soon as he walked out the door I broke down.

3 months later
Rissa
After he left I found out I was pregnant. I still haven't told him. I been told Keith been wildin since he left.

I was just getting off work and I decided to stop by Elijah's house for help.

When I got there I knocked on the door and he opened the door. "Woah Rissa" he says looking at my stomach. "Hey Eli can I come in" he moved out of the way and I walked in and sat on the couch. "Is it his" he asked sitting next to me. I nodded my headed yes. "Why haven't you told him yet since y'all went on this break he has been on something he's depressed and all he does is drink and sleep" he says to me.

"I didn't find out til after he left I didn't know what else to do and now I feel if I tell himhe isn't going to believe it's his"

"Come over to Algee's tonight we having game night and your gonna tell him and he's gonna believe you" Elijah says. "Alright"

After that I left. I went to the grocery store picked up a few things then I went home. As soon as I got home I ate a sandwich and then took a nap.

Keith
I was out with my mom because she's apparently worried about me. "Keith are you ok" she asked me as we walked around the neighborhood. "Yeah ma I'm good"

"You are not good Keith what's goin on"

"I miss her a lot"

"Then why don't you go talk to her"

"I don't know I just don't know what to do"

"Whatever Keith"

We talked a little while longer then I went to Algee's for this game not we supposed to be having. When I got there the guys were getting everything set up and I went straight to the kitchen. "Keith you know I don't drink I don't know why you lookin" Algee says walking in the kitchen. "It was worth a look right"

We went in the living room and they started a game of Dominoes. I didn't play I just sat on the couch scrolling on Ig. I heard somebody knock at the door but I didn't answer because this ain't my house. "I know you heard the door go open it" Woody said to me. "This ain't my house I'll open it when the owner tells me to open it"

"The way you always here it might as well be yours now go open the door" Algee says. I got up and went to open the door. When I opened it I saw Rissa. "Rissa what you doin here" I looked down at her growing stomach. I see she didn't miss me much. "I need to talk to you it's really important"

"Talk to me for what to tell me to get the rest of my stuff so yo new nigga can move in"

"Keith what are you talking about I don't have a new nigga I came to get my old one back because I miss him and to tell him about this" she says pointing to her stomach.

I walked outside with her. "What about it" I asked. "Right after you left I found out I was pregnant but I just didn't tell you because I knew we had just started our break and all that"

"So the baby is mine and you didn't want to tell me how do I know that it's actually mine"

"I'm 4 months pregnant and we have been on break for 3 months and I have barely left the house I go to the store work and doctor's office that's it"

I looked her in the eye and I could tell she was telling the truth. "You missed me huh"

"Yes I did now baby will you come home please" she says to me. "Yeah I'll come home" I said pulling her into a hug.

This wasn't one of my bests but I tried.
