Cody unlocked the door and gestured Y/N to walk in. Cody knew she was upset as she shoved his shoulder with hers while walking right past him. She tightly folded her arms to her chest and stomped her way upstairs to their shared bedroom. This wasn't the first time their date was interrupted and had to be cut short. In fact, it had been happening a lot more recently, but Cody could only do so much. He needed to be there for the two women who also needed him the most right now, his girlfriend and the mother of his unborn child, who was due at any moment.

Cody flinched when Y/N slammed their bedroom door. He was getting tired of this. He had dropped the bomb a couple of months ago, the same day his one night stand showed up 6 months pregnant saying the baby was his. After taking a test to confirm it was his child, Y/N distanced herself from him. She didn't hold it against him. They were broken up for several months when Cody had his fling and when they got back together, he didn't know about the baby since the mother hadn't told him yet. However, Y/N wouldn't talk about it. Cody knew that all the feelings she was keeping bottled up from him was building up and she would eventually explode, and the feeling he had in the pit of his stomach hinted tonight would be the night.

"This could get rough," he mumbled to himself as he slowly walked up to his bedroom.

He walked in and found Y/N already out of his favorite red dress of hers. It was a halter-top dress that went to her knees. He loved it. It hugged her body in all the right places and showed off her sexy legs. Y/N knew it drove Cody crazy and wanted to wear it the night of their anniversary, knowing he couldn't wait any longer to rip it off the second they came home. However, considering Cody cancelled on their plans, or rather cut it short, she decided to cancel on their late-night bedroom plans. She would make damn sure his night would be ruined too.

She quickly tied a knot with the strings to her capris sweatpants and walked over to the closet. Cody's eyes furrowed together as he shook his head when she came out with a duffle bag. "Where are you going?" He asked

"Michelle's." She answered flatly, trying not to show her anger as she grabbed clothes from her drawers.

Cody sighed. "Babe, I don't want you to leave."

"I just need some space, Cody." She tossed the clothes in the bag without folding them neatly, too upset to do so. She just wanted to get out of this house as quickly as possible.

"Yeah?" He said angrily. "How much space do you need this time? Another year?"

Y/N looked up and if looks could kill, Cody would be a dead man right now. "That's not fair, asshole," her chin quivered as tears began to form in her eyes.

Cody let out a frustrated sigh before a pang of guilt washed over him. His shoulders dropped. "You're right. I'm sorry. I just-" he took a step forward towards her but stopped when she took a step back, hinting she didn't want to be near him right now. "I don't want you to walk out on me again. Especially when I need you the most right now."

"Walk out on you?" She said in disbelief. "Excuse me if I needed some time to find myself after losing our unborn child! Do you have any idea how lost I was? How devastated I was? Or the pain of knowing that my body betrayed us both by losing the one thing that was a part of both of us?! Then, you tell me this random chick is suddenly carrying your child! Do you have any idea how much it fucking hurts to know a random one night stand can bare your child and not me?!" She yelled louder after each sentence as tears spilled down her cheeks. She grabbed her sneakers and threw them at Cody, with all the strength she had. Cody quickly ducked, letting the shoes hit the door instead of him. He quickly shot up and looked back at Y/N, who had a look of horror on her face before she gasped and covered her mouth. She couldn't believe she did that. She was not one to be abusive in anyway, but she just couldn't take it anymore. She had so much bottled up; she was bound to explode, just like Cody thought.
