"Asher Adams with the touchdown! Beverly Hills wins!" I jumped from my seat and cheered with the crowd. Asher looked up and pointed at me before his teammates picked him up as they all shouted with excitement.

"Honey, let's go down on the field," dad said. My parents and I made our way down to the field with everyone else. We weaved in and out until we finally found Asher.

"I can't believe it!" I shouted as I jumped and hugged him immediately. Asher chuckled as he hugged me tight. "You were amazing, Ash!"

"Thanks, ba-" Asher stopped himself, which worked out fine as dad spoke at the same time.

"You played one hell of a game, son. Not too shabby for your first game back since your suspension."

"Thank you, sir." Asher shook hands with my dad. My mom had her eyebrow raised at Asher. She looked at him, wondering how his sentence would have finished.

"I wish we could stay and celebrate."

With a smile still on his face, Asher shook his head, "don't worry about it, sir. I know you guys have to drive to Vegas for your next work project."

"We'll take you out for dinner Sunday night when we get back." Asher's smile grew wider.

My parents said goodbye to Asher as Coach Baker came up to congratulate him on winning the game for the team.

My mom grabbed my elbow and pulled me to the side. "Remember our conversation in your bedroom?"

I furrowed my eyebrows as I tried to figure what she was talking about. We've had countless conversations in my bedroom throughout the years. I had no idea which one she was talking about in particular.

"I think Asher likes you," she said. "I know your father and I are leaving-"

"Mom," I groaned.

"Just," she sighed. "I trust you, but don't do anything I wouldn't do, okay?"

I rolled my eyes. Before I could argue with her or come up with some lie that Asher and I are just roommates, Dad said they were already behind schedule and they had to hit the road. Vegas is less than a 5 hour drive. They should have left earlier today, but they wanted to come to the game and support Asher.

I hugged my parents goodbye. When I turned around back to Asher, he was talking to a reporter. I couldn't help but smile as Asher answered some questions for the newspaper. I made a mental note to go out and buy a couple of copies of the newspaper tomorrow morning before volleyball practice.

"Thank you, sir," Asher said as he shook the reporter's hand. He turned around and took a couple of steps towards me. He grabbed my hand, instantly making me smile. "Do you mind waiting for me?" I shook my head. "I'm gonna take a quick shower and we can go do something."

"I'm sure there's an after party somewhere to celebrate tonight's win."

Asher shook his head. "I only want to celebrate with you."

"Okay," I smiled.

"I won't take took long," he promised. He cupped my cheek as he looked at his number written in eyeliner just underneath my eye. He smiled. "My number looks good on you."

I giggled and shook my head. "Go shower. I'll wait for you by your Jeep."

The park was quiet as we slowly spun around in circles on the merry go around. The night sky was clear, but with all the city lights in Beverly Hills, the stars were hidden. However, there was a full moon tonight and it looked beautiful.
