He had a mate. Daven sat on his bed just staring at the floor. Well not a mate yet, but a fiance. "Wow," he breathed, leaning back against the wall.

Jesse was cute. Smaller than even Raven with big green eyes. His hair was reddish. Daven didn't really see the boy having any fire to him. Jesse looked scared out of his mind. When Daven marked him, he was worried he might hurt him because he was so frail. The sub seemed more breakable than Raven and that was serious. His twin was always hurting himself.

"My god," he breathed. Why were sub made to be such temptations? He gripped his knees. They just have to wait and see what happens.

For the last few days, Jesse had barely left that little room. Going outside, it scared the shit out of him. He spend his time lounging on the bed playing computer games. Raven was messing around with his hair. Jesse would never understand why his roommate didn't cut it, but bringing it up, never ended well.

Raven turned around as he finished tying off his braid. "We're going to my Aunt Karen's tomorrow."

"Have fun."

"You're coming with us."

Jesse closed his computer. "Why?"

"She wants to meet you. She's human, my Uncle Aden's mom."

"Oh." He relaxed a little before he caught on that he was going out among the humans. "Do I have to?"

"It's a late birthday party for Daven and me. Since he's your fiance, I think you should."

Jesse sat up. "Birthday? Daven's birthday."

Raven nodded. "Yeah, the same day as mine."

"Well, I already gave you a present." He rubbed his face. "What am I going to get your brother?"

The long-haired boy shrugged. "Something simple. He doesn't really care much for gifts anymore. He spend most of his time outside messing around with Jagger."

"Jagger? I haven't met him yet."

"He's a little worried about how you might react. He was hiding in the corner when Daven marked you." Raven crawled over to the bed. "Did it hurt a lot?"

"Like hell." Jesse flopped onto his side and put his arm over his forehead. "At least I only have to go through that once. From what I hear, the next time feels awesome."

Raven shook his head. "Hmm..."

"Oh come, you have to want to do it one day."

"Not particularly." He took out his earrings and put them in the little holder Storm had bought her son.

"Liar." Jesse turned onto his stomach and put his hands under his chin. "You can't wait for a big dominant to pin you down."

Raven spun around with his mouth open. "Excuse me. That is your dream, and it's a little gross because that big dominant who is going to be pinning you down is my brother."

Jesse smashed his face into the mattress and groaned. "You totally ruining my mood."

"You know you're supposed to be getting used to Daven. You haven't seen him once since he marked you."

Jesse snatched his computer and sat up against the wall. "I'm recovering. The stress takes it out of me."

"You seem fine to me."

Snatching a pillow, Jesse hurled it at Raven.

"Aw!" He pushed his braid over his shoulder. "You jerk." Grabbing the pillow, he threw it back.
