Raven took a deep breath and watched out the window for Josh to get to the apartment. He was going to tell him about the arrangement. The sub would let Josh know all about having to change packs and accept any consequences for not coming clean earlier. Raven just prayed that Josh wouldn't be too mad, or worse...

A car pulled up to the curb. He glanced into the living room. Jesse and Daven were watching TV together.

"I'll be back tomorrow afternoon."

Daven waved. "Have fun."

Jesse grinned at the sub. "Not too much, right?" He winked.

Taking in a deep breath, Daven sat up straight. "You better not be sleeping in the same room."

"No. I already told you and Dad, we would be, so calm down." Grabbing his bag, Raven hurried out of the apartment. He was so sick of Jesse's constant teasing. He couldn't help but smile as he climbed into the car and saw Josh. "Hi."

"Hello, you look great." He clasped the boy's hand. "Are you nervous?"

"A little bit." Raven put on his seat belt. "I'm excited to meet your family."

"Well, they are all going to be there." Josh put the car in drive and started down the road. "My brother and sister are coming over from the academy. My grandparents might come and my uncle and his mate. He's the beta."

"Wow, it's going to be a full house." Raven laughed hesitantly. A little too full for sub's liking.

"It's nothing to worry about. They're all excited to meet you."

Raven forced a smile. "Me, too."

It wasn't as big as the mansion but Josh's childhood home was big enough. Raven swallowed hard as he scanned the building. His nerves were getting worse.

Josh turned off the car. "So this is it."

"It's really nice."

"Could you see yourself living in a house like this?" Josh leaned over the wheel.

I shrugged. "I'd miss the mountains after a while."

"Well, I don't think your parents are going anywhere." He opened the door. "Come on, I'll introduce you to the family."

Raven climbed out and felt sick. How was he going to tell Josh about the arrangement? They wouldn't be living in a fancy house but a cave. The sub didn't know many civils that wanted to go back to their roots.

Josh grabbed the bags out of the trunk and took Raven by the hand. They walked up to the front door.

After knocking, Josh opened it. "We're here. Where is everyone at?"

A blond haired man hurried out of a sitting room. "Welcome home." He hugged Josh before turning to Raven. "And this must be the young man we've heard so much about. Hi, I'm Asher, Josh's dad."

"Hi." Raven waved. "Thanks for having me."

Asher smiled. "It's so good to meet you. Leave your bags here and I'll have someone take them up to your room. Everyone else is waiting in the game room."

Josh lead the way through the house to a room toward the back. He opened the door and ushered the long-haired boy inside. Raven took a deep breath and saw a group of dominants over by an air hockey table.

"Josh and Raven are here," said Asher.

The teenage-looking boy and girl stopped their game and came over with an older man. They all had dark brown hair. Raven moved closer to Josh, who put an arm around the sub.
