Daven took a deep breath as Jesse finished doing the dominant's tie.

"There, all done." Jesse smoothed out his boyfriend's clothes. "You look great." He smiled.

Daven wasn't as thrilled with his appearance. The clothes were designed to be uncomfortable. The tie was suffocating him.

"Are you nervous?"

The dominant shrugged. "It seems like a lot of hype over something the pack already knows."

"It's your special day." Jesse grabbed the taller boy's hand. "It's a day we gets to celebrate just you and welcome you to the pack."

Daven leaned down to his fiance's level. "You don't even remember yours." He gave the sub a smirk.

Jesse frowned. "So? I had one and now you will too." He headed out of the bathroom. "Yours is just fifteen years late."

Shaking his head, Daven faced the mirror. The person he saw seemed so foreign. There was a faint knock on the door, and Jesse's squeals came soon after. Daven walked to the bathroom door to see his fiance practically crushing his twin in a hug. His parents slipped into the room. Storm spotted her eldest son and hurried over with her arms outstretched.

"Hi, mom." He hugged her.

"You look so nice." She gave me a squeeze before stepping back to get a better look of her son. "How have you been? It's been so weird not having you home." She hugged him again.

"Fine, busy, but fine."

Darius moved in and put his arms around his son. "Is Trevor working you ragged?"

Daven sighed. "I didn't realize how big the pack was before I agreed to this. A lot goes into running this place."

Patting his son's shoulder, Darius smiled. "I could have told you that. Being alpha isn't an easy job. Now you're understanding how annoying it is to have to be constantly disciplining pups when there's so much work I could be doing."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," breathed his son.

Raven hurried over with a big smiled and hugged his brother. "I missed you." He peered up at Daven. "Did you miss me?"

The dominant gave his twin a smirk. "Maybe a little bit."

Raven frowned.

"I'm kidding." Daven lifted his brother off the ground and practically crushed him in a hug. "I've missed my baby brother so much."

"Daven, stop," breathed Raven. "Daven, let go. I can't breathe."

Laughing, he released the sub and Raven staggered back, fixing his clothes.

"Jagger didn't make it then?" asked Daven, looking at his parents.

"It's been a lot for him," said Storm, putting her arm around Raven. "He lost his last relative, and it hit him really hard. He just needs some time, but he wanted us to tell you congratulations. We're all very proud of you."

Nodding, Daven took a big breath. "Has anyone tried to talk to his mom?"

"No, she's never reached out to Jagger after leaving." She rubbed her hand up and down Raven's arm. "From what we know, she has a mate and pups of her own now."

"She didn't really want to have Jagger in the first place," said Darius. "It was something Oscar forced on her after Jet died to keep his bloodline going."

"I never knew that about Jagger," said Jesse.

"Don't bring it up," said Darius. "It not something he wants to be reminded about."
