Raven couldn't look away. It was incredible. Elaborate gowns were strutted down the runway by models. The werewolf had his eyes on a few of the pieces, especially the jewelry. Being there was so worth any punishment that might be coming if his father found out about him lying. He watched a woman work a long gown that flowed across the floor. This is what Raven wanted to do with his life. The fashion world was so exciting. He'd find some way to convince his father to let him be apart of it.

The last model returned to behind the stage. Some after all the models came out in a line. Raven jumped to feet and clapped along with the other guests as the women did their final walk. Jace's mother came out from behind the stage and did a bow. She motioned to the girls before giving a bow and leaving with them.

"That was amazing. I'm so glad I came." Raven grinned at the boy next to him.

"I knew you would like it. Come on." Jace grabbed the werewolf's hand. "We can go backstage."

"Really?" Raven was bubbling with excitement as the pair weaved through the crowd.

They waited outside until they were given the okay. The models had changed back into their clothes and were posing together to celebrate the show.

"Mom!" Jace hurried through the crowd and hugged her. "It was amazing."

Raven wandered around. He paced by the racks of clothes that were being packed up and the makeup stations. It was so surreal to be able to see all of this.

"I haven't seen you before," said a voice behind the werewolf.

Raven spun around. A woman was standing there, tying her hair up in a ponytail.

"Hi, I'm friends with the designer's son." He pointed at Jace.

"Oh, I thought you were one of the models."

"Maybe one day." Raven glanced around. "How did you get started?"

"I was scouted."

The sub sighed. "I should probably get my dad to agree to let me even be a model first."

She laughed. "Probably a good idea, sweetheart." She turned to leave. "You're a cutie, so I sure you're going to do great if you ever get daddy to say yes. Shouldn't be too hard, right?"

She had no idea how hard it actually was going to be. Raven's father was also his alpha.

The sub made his way over to Jace.

"This is pretty cool, right?" said the human.

Raven nodded. "I hope to be able to do this myself one day."

"My mom said she'd hire you in a heartbeat."

The werewolf's mouth fell open. "She would?"

"Oh yeah, and she doesn't even design men's wear."

Raven glanced at the dresses being put in plastic bags. "I wouldn't mind."

"You'd have to learn how to walk in high heels," Jace laughed.

He scrunched up his face when he saw the pile of shoes. "That might be a little harder to pull off."

"Storm!" Darius threw back the curtain to the bedroom. "Storm, where are the shoes? I can't find any that fit me."

She walked out of Raven's bedroom. "Look in the storage room."

"I did," the alpha stated. "I can't find any that don't look like something was chewing on them."

Storm picked up the laundry basket. "Darius, you're not the only one that has things to do. My baby is coming home and his room is nowhere near ready."
