"The school year has barely started. We are not starting the year off like this, Daven." The teacher opened the door and waved him out. "One more outburst like that and your father will be contacted."

Rolling his eyes, he walked out of the classroom and spotted Jagger.

"Hey."

Daven nodded.

Jagger jogged over. "Sorry, I got you in trouble."

"It's fine. I hit him too, and I wasn't about to rat you out. Besides that asshole deserved it. Mouth off about Northern Ridge, and I'll knock your teeth in. It's pretty basic concept, and I think everyone knows to watch their mouths now."

"This school is a little different." Jagger opened the front door, and the two walked out onto the grass.

The boys stood on the steps and glanced at all the groups spread out across the grassy hill in front of the high school. Daven scanned the crowd for his brother. This wasn't grade school anymore. 8th grade through 12th were all in the same building, and some of these people weren't just here to get an education.

Jagger dumped him. "Over there."

Daven locked onto the long white blond braid. The boy standing next to his twin picked up the end. Raven gave him a weak smile and backed away. The idiot didn't get the hint and pulled the sub back. Daven breathed out through his nose. Idiots, worthless idiots. He clenched his fists and marched over.

"I need to find my brother," said Raven, trying to get the boy's hands off him. "He'll be looking for me."

"Just stay with us."

"Like hell!" Daven punched the brown haired boy in the jaw hard enough to knock him to the ground.

His friends hurried to his side to help him stand up.

Daven raised a finger. "Touch him again, and I'll gut you."

Raven slipped behind his twin. Jagger was right there as the opposing pack gathered. More members of Northern Ridge hurried over as the two werewolves faced off.

Wiping the blood from his nose, the boy forced a smile. "So you're Daven. I've heard a lot about you."

"Not enough, if you're still stupid enough to put your hands on my brother."

"We were talking."

"He told you no," snapped Daven.

Some of the Northern Ridge girls drew Raven back.

The boy stood up tall. "I'll admit you're bigger than I expected," he leaned down to Daven's level, though it was only a couple inches, "but I'm not going to kiss your ass like everyone else. I'm not afraid of Northern Ridge."

Raven crept to his brother's side. "Daven, let's go. Please. I don't want you to fight over this. They'll call dad."

Daven nodded. "Stay away from him." Grabbing his twin's arm, he led the sub away.

"Don't worry," laughed the boy. "I'm not into dudes, but the omega's hair just threw me off."

Raven flinched at the comment and that was it. Daven's temper shot to extreme. He shifted and leaped onto the boy in one swift movement. Jagger was close behind them. The other pack raced over. One of the Northern Ridge girls grabbed Raven's hand and pulled him out of the way as his brother pounded the boy's head into the pavement.

Jagger dive tackled Daven, hard enough to knock him off. He wrestled his packmate away as the other boy was pulled to safety.

"How's that!" spat Daven, tasting blood from the one good punch the guy got on him. "Big enough for you now. Fuck human form, I'll beat your ass how we're meant to be."
