"And then he said I was too naive." Raven threw his hands in the air. "Like really? I'm the naive one. Out of the two of us, I'm the responsible one."
"Hmm..." Jesse kept blasting enemies on some handheld video game console. "Typical dominant attitude."
Raven plopped down on his bed. "How was your break?"
Jesse shrugged. "The usual. My dad's trying to win me over with gifts as an apology for making me meet men twice my age and having to deal with the embarrassment of throwing up outside of the bathroom because I couldn't make it to the toilet in time." He looked over at his roommate. "I had an amazing break." He shook the gaming device in the air. "I got a new tablet and gaming computer as well."
The long-haired boy moved over to the other bed and laid down on his stomach by the other sub. "I'm sorry."
Jesse sucked in his cheek. "It's not your fault." He went back to fighting monsters. "So, are you planning on getting a boyfriend just to show your brother?"
Raven groaned and shoved his face into the mattress. "No. My dad would kill me, and I don't really want one. But I still want to prove to them I'm mature enough to handle myself, and if I ever do want a boyfriend, I'm getting one."
"Why not come to some of the sporting events on the dominant campus? We have a swim meet in a couple days. They do werewolf and human races. The human ones are the best." He smiled, wiggling his eyebrows. "Tight swimsuits."
Raven shoved him. "We have enough men in tight clothes on the wall."
Jesse rolled onto his side. "Then come with me to watch the basketball game. They'll be starting track soon too."
"How do you know all this?"
"I'm a dedicated fan."
Raven laughed. "Whatever you say, but I think there's more too it than that."
Jesse grinned. "Most likely."

Vinny locked the bathroom door and hurried over to do the same to Raven and Jesse's room. Taking a calming breath, he turned to the mirror. His eyes were red and swollen. Quickly clearing them, he turned on the water and washed his face.
The door handle jiggled.
He froze.
"Vinny," called Liam. "Vinny, open up."
The sub hurried to turn on the tub. When he turned back around, his roommate was standing there.
"Liam, why did you always do this? Stop breaking in on me." Vinny bowed his head. "I was just going to take a shower."
The taller boy hugged him. "What happened?"
Vinny wiped his face. "Nothing, nothing. He just yelled at me. Called me a sub." He peered up at his roommate. "An omega."
Liam tightened his hold. "Don't listen to them. Dominants, they're just assholes sometimes. There's nothing wrong with us."
The shorter boy nodded. "What about you?" He glanced at Liam's shoulder. "I saw it. Last night. It must be pretty bad. We've been back for nearly a week, and it's still not healed."
Liam pressed Vinny's head to his chest. "I'll live. I'm used to it. You should probably take a shower. If Jesse sees, he'll freak."
"Yeah." Vinny shuffled off. "Thanks, Liam. Um..." He stooped down by the sink they shared and opened up the cabinet under it. He took out an ice pack. "Here."
