Jagger and Daven woke up early the next day and crept through the cleaning center in the back of the hotel. Jagger opened the back exit and did a quick scan before stepping outside. Daven hurried out after him and stumbled into his packmate's back. The two boys stood in front of the alpha.

"Do you mind telling me what you are doing?" asked Darius, folding his arms.

Daven sunk behind Jagger.

The future alpha swallowed the lump in his throat. "I know that woman has something to do with this. We have to find her."

"If the rogues figure out we're on to them, they will take Raven and run."

"I know," stated Jagger. "That's how confident I am that she had something to do with this."

Darius squeezed the boy's shoulder. "Alright then, where to?"

"You're okay with this?" said Daven.

"I sick and tired of sitting in that room and relying on something else to find my son. If there's any chance that this woman"—he clicked his tongue—"was involved then let's find her." He led the way down the alley to a rental car parked at the curb.

Jagger smiled to himself. The alpha knew all along that he was going to strike out on his own. They climbed inside the vehicle.

"How did you know we were sneaking out?" asked Daven.

Darius sat behind the wheel and turned on the car. "I raised you both. After seeing how passionate Jagger felt about this model, I knew you weren't going to let it go as easily as Trevor hoped."

Daven chuckled. "He's going to be pissed." He turned in his seat to Jagger who was in the back. "He better not take Jesse from me."

Jagger scoffed. "Jesse won't let him."

"True." Daven grinned. "That little fireball has a way of making alphas do exactly what he wants."

"Focus boys," said Darius as he pulled out onto the street. "Raven goes up for auction tonight."

"Right." Jagger leaned into the front seat. "Jace's mom requested Suzanne's schedule for today and emailed it to me. Here is the address." He tapped on it and set the GPS to take them to the location.

"So the plan is to find her and follow her around?" said the alpha.

Jagger nodded. "Sooner or later, she'll head home and hopefully led us to where they have Raven."

"We still don't know if this girl is even a werewolf," breathed Daven.

"Want to find out?" Jagger arched a brow.

Daven tired not to smile. "Still, it's kind of sketchy to attack some helpless woman." His nails turned into claws.

Darius shook his head at his son. "Let's calm down. We're not going to jump her on the street. All we need to do is get close and I'll be able to tell by watching how she reacts to me."

"Then I can stick her?" muttered Daven.

The alpha nodded. "If she's a werewolf, you can do whatever the hell you want."

Suzanne walked out onto the street and headed for her car.

"That's the last one," said Jagger.

The other two men were nearly asleep. They had been sitting outside for almost three hours.

Darius sat up straight. "Thank god." He pulled out onto the street and started to follow the dark blue car.
