Raven grabbed another bundle of hangers from the bin and tossed them on the bed. Pushing the stray hairs out of his face, he sat down to do another round. His father was right. He had too many clothes. Raven checked his phone but didn't have any messages. Jesse had told him earlier that they were on their way. The sub hoped that Liam was doing already. It was crazy to think that Jesse's cousin had marked Liam.
Everyone was getting a mate. It made Raven a little nervous about his own future. Letting out a sigh, he pulled over a stack of shirts. A knock sounded on the door.
"Come in."
It opened and a blond head of hair appeared. "Hey."
"Jesse!" Raven climbed off the bed and hurried over. "You're finally here."
The two hugged.
"How's Liam?"
Jesse shrugged. "He said he was fine, but it's Liam. He's not going to tell me how he's actually feeling. I think he's still in shock."
"We should go visit him this weekend," said Raven.
Jesse laughed. "Yeah, I bet he'd love us smothering him and asking questions."
"Still, I want to see him. We don't have to talk about mate stuff. We can just hang out."
"We can ask him if he's up for it." Jesse shrugged. "My dad was going to get him a phone. Mainly because I was pretty adamant that he had one. Liam apart of my pack now."
"That's so weird but it's also a relief." Raven let out a sigh. "His old alpha seems like such a horrible person."
"It kind of sucks that my dad is going to have the pay the fucker."
Raven frowned and went to his bed. "It's better to just do it and not have that guy coming back later wanting something."
"True." Jesse plopped down on the bed.
Sitting up straight, Raven hurried to move his things out of the way.
"Well, you didn't waste any time to decorate the place."
Raven arched a brow. "I have to live with my brother. I know how disgusting he can be."
"Daven's not that bad."
"You have a maid that cleans up after him. In Northern Ridge, we don't. I had to do it until he was finally old enough to move out into his own room and then Jagger had to put up with him."
Jesse just smiled. "My dad is sending someone to make sure we don't destroy the place. He knows that Daven and I are hopeless and felt bad for poor little Raven," he teased.
"I'm just glad I have my own room." Raven put a shirt on a hanger. "You can plaster the walls in your room with whatever the hell you want. For once, this will be my space and just my space."
"Was I really that bad of a roommate?"
Letting out a deep breath, Raven shook his head. "No. That's why you're right across the hall and we kicked the two obnoxious ones upstairs."
"Jagger is obnoxious now?" Jesse raised an eyebrow. "That's news to me."
"Okay, maybe it's just Daven."
Jesse grinned. "Anything new there?"
"No," said Raven quickly. "Jagger and I are friends. Besides, I'm pretty sure he's straight."
"I thought Cyrus was straight but turns out he's bi. Jagger could be the same."
"Not every dominant is bisexual. Daven and Cyrus might be but I pretty sure that Jagger is not."
