Sa pag-uwi ko sa bahay ay pakiramdam ko pagod na pagod ako. Hindi ko pa rin makalimutan ang nakita ko sa rooftop. Damn guy! He's really an asshole, high-class.
"Cha!" Katok ni mommy sa pinto nang kwarto ko. "Cha! Kakain na tayo, anak. Labas ka na diyan!"
"Yes my! Sunod na po ako!"
Napabuntong-hininga ako habang sinisipat ang aking cellphone. Kanina ko pa tinetext si Lala pero di siya nagrereply. Ano kayang ginagawa niya? I hope she's just fine. I'm really worried.
Pababa ako ng hagdan nang makatanggap ng overseas call? It's Psyche! Agad kong ini-slide ang aking phone para masagot.
"Missy! I miss you so damn much! How are you? You're not texting me back, huh? Did you replace me to someone as your bestfriend?"
Natawa ako sa bungad niya. "You know, I won't do that to you. Where did you get that idea, huh?"
"Hmmpp. . I saw your latest pictures with I can't remember who she is, but she's so beautiful that makes me want to transform into a lesbian." Halos makita ko ang pagnguso niya sa sinasabi.
"When did you saw it? I'm not yet logging-in on my social media accounts."
Si Chrystal kaya ang tinutukoy niya? I always forgot to check my account. Lalo na ang Instagram.
"Tss. It's in your i.g! A lot of your friends commented and even me double-tap it."
"As I expected. You're becoming my number one stalker in those accounts. Anyway missy, I miss you too. Sorry if I forgot to communicate to you these past few days. I'm just a little bit busy."
"I understand! I hope the time move fast. I'm planning to visit you this summer vacation. Are you going to come back here?"
Napailing na naman ako. "Psyche, it's still July. Summer usually happen by the month of April or May. God! It's probably next year." Natatawa kong turan.
"That's why I wish for the time to move faster. But you are right, it's really too long. I can't wait. Maybe you can go back here, if you have some holidays. I don't like hanging up with Kelly. She's creepy!"
Di ko na mapigilan ang humalakhak. Si Kelly Greene, one of those nerds. Minsan ay mahilig siyang makisama samin dahil hindi rin siya mahilig sa parties and nightlife. Pero masasabi kong may pagka-similarities ang ugali nila ni Psyche. They are all weird.
"Don't be mean to her, missy. I need to hang up now. I'm going to have my dinner. I'll call you later. I promise!"
"Alright! I love you! Mwah!" She ended.
Natatawa talaga ako sa babaeng 'yon. Sa ibang tao ay napakacold niya. Pag hindi mo siya kilala ay aakalain mong napakamisteryosa niya. But she's bubbly and funny, tanging sakin nga lang.
"It's Psyche, again?" Tanong ni mommy ng umupo ako.
"Yeah! She miss me so much. Nagpaplano pa siyang bumisita sa bansa."
"Really? Ikaw wala ka bang balak bumisita sa New York. October is already your sem-break." Natuwa ako sa nasabi ni mommy.
"Talaga po? Pwede? I mean, okay lang po 'yong expenses?"
"Chicha naman, I know we're not that rich but still I can afford you to buy some tickets."
"Really mom! Gosh! Sigurado kong matutuwa si Psyche."
