"Alpha? Can we take these home? I feel like everyone is looking at me..." Mitch whispered, twiddling his thumbs under the table. Scott set down his menu and looked around, seeing no one with their heads pointed towards the two.

"Mittens, no one is looking over at us." Scott said, reaching across the table and holding out his hand.

"Alpha... I don't want to be here... please?" Mitch looked up apologetically and grasped Scott's hand tightly.

"Alright. Can you handle a few more minutes so we can order? We'll go home once we get our food, I promise."

"Yes sir. Can I come sit next to you?"

Scott moved over in the booth and patted the empty spot, Mitch hurrying over and smoothing out his dress. He drapped his arm around Mitch's shoulders and placed the menu in his lap. "Pick out what you want yet?"

"California Rolls?"

"Good choice." Scott took the menu back and closed it to set it on the table. He grabbed Mitch's cup of water and held the straw up to his lips. "Drink some water, Mittens." Mitch obeyed Scott's order and took several long sips of the water before holding the cup in his lap.

-

Scott watched Mitch twirl around in his dress around the sidewalk, taking small hops in between his steps. He watched carefully for any cars passing and stayed as close to Mitch as possible.

"Mittens, be careful." Scott warned.

"I'm fine Alpha! I can see in front of me!" Mitch sassed.

"Rock." Scott grabbed Mitch's arm when he tripped over a rock fused into the ground and set him on his feet properly.

"Hmm." Mitch groaned.

"Calm down, I don't want you to get hurt." Scott said, patting Mitch's head gently and turning a corner towards the apartment building.

"I'm just hungry and trying to distract myself." Mitch pouted, grabbing onto Scott's free hand.

"Don't worry, we're almost home."

-

"Aah." Mitch opened his mouth wide open as Scott held a California Roll up to his lips. He wrapped his lips around the roll and pulled it from between the chopsticks, chewing and grinning.

"Taste good?"

"Mm-hmm. Can I try one of yours Alpha?"

"They have spice all over them, Mitch. They'll hurt your tongue." Scott warned.

"Please?" Mitch pouted.

"Fine. Don't say I didn't warn you." Scott placed his small tray of sushi onto Mitch's lap with the chopsticks and stood up, disappearing into the kitchen.

Mitch took one of the rolls with the sticks and stuck it into his mouth. Just a moment later, Mitch felt his tongue heat up and he let out  small shriek. "Alpha! It's hot!" He stood up and put the tray to the side and grabbed a napkin, spitting out the roll and tossing it aside.

Scott returned to the room with a glass of warm milk. He handed it to Mitch who drank eagerly, a few drops dripping down his neck. Scott smirked and took the glass back with Mitch was done. "Was it hot?"

Mitch pouted and wiped his lips with the back of his hand, grabbing another napkin to clean his neck and hands. "Yes Sir. I should've listened to you."

Scott kissed Mitch's cheek and placed the cup in the kitchen sink, returning to the living room and sitting on the couch. He finished his spicy rolls and made sure Mitch ate his sushi before cleaning up their mess.

"Come on, Omega. Let's get ready for bed."

"Can we sleep in my room tonight? I want to enjoy it because you spent so much and work very hard on it." Mitch asked as he followed Scott to the bathroom.

"Well.. The bed in there isn't as big as mine, I don't think we'll fit." Scott said apologetically. "Do you mind sleeping in there alone?"

Mitch fiddled with his thumbs and sat on the toilet as Scott started his shower. "No sir." He said after a minute or so of silence.

"Your shower's ready. I'll bring in some clean clothes for you in a minute." Scott kissed Mitch's cheek before leaving the bathroom.

-

"Good night, Mittens." Scott said, smoothing the blanket out over Mitch's shoulders. He kissed Mitch's forehead and walked over to the light switch.

"Good night, Alpha." Mitch responded. Scott switched off the light and closed the door, leaving a crack between the doorframe before turning off the rest of the lights in the apartment.

Mitch looked up at the ceiling and started counting the stars in his head. He slowly grew sleepier but for some reason, he couldn't fall asleep. He looked at the glow in the dark clock on the bedside and noticed he had spent thirty minutes counting the stars over and over.

The a.c cut on and cold air blew throughout the apartment, making Mitch shiver and bring the blankets up higher and snuggle into them. He sat up and stared at the door.

"Alpha?" He called.

The a.c didn't take long to shut off and Mitch could hear the faint sound of Scott's snoring. He let out a whimper before laying down and facing the wall. He then stood up and walked over to Scott's room, peeking in to see the blond cuddling a pillow with his blankets already bunched up at the foot of the bed.

Mitch walked over and grabbed the blankets to cover Scott's body. He stared at Scott for a while before noticing the room seemed a bit darker than before and he whimpered loudly.

He went back to his room and laid down, trying his best to fall asleep. He opened his eyes right after closing them to see sunlight pouring in through his pink curtains.

Mitch sat up in the bed and looked over at the door that was open wider than he last saw it. He flung his legs over the side of the bed and stood up, walking over to the door and peeking out to the hallway. Scott's door was open and his bedroom seemed empty.

He went into the hallway and heard a heard something from the kitchen. He walked over and saw Scott facing the stove and cooking something unknown.

"Alpha?"

Scott turned off the burner and turned around, seeing Mitch in the kitchen doorway. "Hey, Omega. Good morning." He walked over and embraced Mitch in a hug, kissing the top of his head and tilted his head up to kiss his lips.

"Good morning."

"How'd you sleep?"

"Fine. What are you cooking?"

"Omelettes. Are you hungry?" Scott went back to the stove and slid the omelette from the pan onto a plate.

"Yes sir. I'm just going to go freshen up first, if that's okay." Mitch said, subconsciously tugging at the long shirt he wore.

"Of course. I'll wait for you, take your time." Scott kissed Mitch again before watching him hurry to the bathroom.
