This is who I imagine Mickey to be. You get extra points if you know who he's from.
"It itches," Scott said, turning his head to see Mitch who was in the opposite chair. Both of them were holding hands as the tattoo artists drew on their bodies.
Mitch took in a deep breath and squeezed Scott's hand. "It's not even done yet."
"Mine is," Scott said as the artist wiped down his arm and started to clean and wrap it. "Not my fault you wanted something with colour.
"Hey, it's beautiful." Mitch huffed. Scott stood up to see Mitch's wrist. He smiled at the little wave on the skin. "What'd you get?"
"A sunflower." Scott turned his arm so Mitch could see it. "I plan on getting three smaller flowers around it once this one is done healing."
"It's cute." Mitch smiled.
"Alright, all done." Once Mitch's tattoo was wrapped up, he and Mitch went to the carpark where his car was.
Mitch fished the keys from his backpack and handed them to Scott. Scott took the keys and he dropped his hand to Mitch's waist.
"Can I kiss you, love?" Scott asked, his free hand going up to Mitch's chin and rubbing his bottom lip.
"You don't have to ask, Alpha." Mitch wasn't surprised when Scott pushed him against the car and kissed him deeply. Scott pulled away after a moment and stared Mitch in the eyes, smiling before kissing him again.
It was another few moments before Scott pushed himself away."Come on, let's go get her," He said, unlocking the car and opening the door. Mitch got in and buckled himself up, watching Scott go to the driver's seat.
"Are you sure you want to do this? I can go with Matt and Avi."
"No, it's fine. I want to see her." Scott drove out of the parking space and just down several miles to the children's hospital.
They got out of the car, went up to the front desk and was lead to a room. The nurse that lead the pair left and Scott opened the door to allow Mitch to go in first. The two went up to the single crib and Scott reached in. He did his best not to pull any wires and picked up Tiffany, the bruised and scabbed up baby whining quietly as she disturbed from her nap.
Mitch covered his mouth quickly and turned away at the sight, tears filling his eyes. Scott looked at him worriedly and he held Tiffany close. The baby continued to cry shortly until Scott patted her bum and whispered to her. She opened her soft, golden, Beta eyes and stared at Scott.
Scott swallowed the hard lump in his throat when Tiffany smiled at him. He moved Ed the cords and wires connected to Tiffany around so he could grab the machine she was hooked up to and drag it over to Mitch.
"Come hold her," Scott whispered, holding Tiffany with one hand to rub Mitch's shoulders.
Mitch turned and wiped his eyes. He shakily held out his arms and they went steady once Tiffany was placed in his hold. He held the baby close and turned once again when the door was knocked on.
Scott excused himself, going over to the door and opening it. On the other side stood, Mickey who was fiddling with his thumbs in front of him.
"Can I see her?" Mickey asked carefully. Scott turned to the side so Mickey could see Mitch who was holding Tiffany.
Mitch gave the baby to Mickey then stepped out into the hall. Scott shut the door behind him then looked at Mickey.
"Is it bad I'm having second thoughts about this?" Mickey whispered, holding Tiffany close as the baby stared at him.
"No. It's normal. Just know, you're doing this so she can have a better life. She'll grow up to a beautiful Beta and she'll be in a healthy household with two parents willing to take care of her."
"I know... I just don't want to let her go." Mickey saw a chair nearby and sat down.
"You'll always have the option to come see her. The court wants to see you, Matt and Avi tomorrow to finish the adoption papers."
"I'm going to continue the hotel, finish packing up. I'm actually going to go back home tomorrow."
"Who's taking you?"
"A friend. An Alpha. His name's Ian. I'll text you his number if you want to talk to him."
The two continued to talk and soon a nurse came in to check on Tiffany and take her to a different room. While that was happening, Scott went looking down the first floor of the hospital for Mitch since he had disappeared.
He found the Omega in the bathroom, his shirt pulled up to his shoulders and his bare back facing the large mirror. His neck was cranked to the side as much as it would go without breaking. The Omega saw Scott in the reflection and he quickly dropped his shirt and wiped his face.
"Mickey went back to the hotel and visitation time for the day is about to end here in a few," Scott said awkwardly. He then noticed the door was marked as Omega's and out of the corner of his eye, he could see one of the security guards straighten up. "I'll wait in the hall."
Mitch waited for Scott to shut the door and he faced the mirror. He stared at himself and shut his eyes before leaving the restroom and meeting Scott.
"You alright?" Scott crouched down and he hugged Mitch tightly, the Omega wrapping his frail arms around Scott's neck and breathing in his comforting scent.
"Can we talk at home?" Mitch whispered and he felt Scott's arms lifting him to carry him.
"Of course we can, love."
