A few days go by and Mitch hasn't showered nor eaten. Scott hasn't come out of his room and Mitch hasn't left his. He felt his stomach grumbling and he let out a whimper, holding his stomach and leaning his head against the wall. He felt horrible and his stomach wanted to throw up the acid it held but Mitch refused to let it. He wanted food and a bath desperately but he's gone longer without it before so he knew he could hold off for another few days.
He stared at Scott's Valentine gift he had moved on top of his dresser then quickly averted his eyes away from it. He wanted to get up and barge into Scott's bedroom and make sure the Alpha was still alright but couldn't find himself doing so. He grabbed his folder and opened it, flipping through the drawings until he found the one he had done of Scott. He grabbed it, closed the folder and set it aside to stare at the drawing. He then felt anger in his chest and he crumbled up the paper and threw it across the room.
He stood up from the bed and ignored the pain in his stomach and walked to his closet. He grabbed his string bag he hadn't opened since he moved in with Scott and opened it, carrying it to his bed and stuffing his folder inside of it. He then opened the window and quietly stepped onto the fire escape, closing his window and finding his way off of the escape.

"I'm sure he'll appreciate it. I mean, Avi really upset him, I'm sure he needs something to cheer him up." Kevin said, carrying a small box in his hands as Kirstie carried a bag full of more of her old clothes for Mitch. The two placed the items in the back of Kevin's car and climbed inside.
"Well, Mitchie is there. Can't he cheer up Alpha Scott?" Kirstie questioned, buckling herself up.
"Yes but Mitch doesn't know how to. He doesn't know much of Scott's past and it'll be troubling for him to find a way to cheer Scott up." Kevin started the car and put his seatbelt on before backing out of the driveway and out of the neighboorhood.
"But it's been almost a week since they last came over, right? Shouldn't Scott be over it by now?"
"He can't get over it that easily, Kit... Even if he doesn't want the cake, it's nice to check up on him. Especially since I need to apologize for how I've treated him and the Str- I mean Mitch." Kirstie nodded and stared out the window through the drive. The two got to the apartment building in just several minutes and Kirstie insisted on carrying the cake up to the apartment.
Kevin lead Kirstie to the door and knocked on it. He waited a minute before knocking again.
"Are they sleeping, Alpha?" Kirstie asked.
"It's three in the afternoon, Kit."
"I take naps at ten a.m."
Kevin knocked again and waited. He got frustrated and pulled his car keys out of his pocket. He unlocked the door and let Kirstie inside before following and shutting the door behind him. He set the bag of clothes on the couch and Kirstie put the cake in the kitchen. Kevin went to Scott's room and knocked on the door roughly.
"Scott! Open the door man, I know you're in there." Kevin called. Meanwhile, Kirstie got a bit snoopy and she went to Mitch's room, a foul stinch hitting her in the face. The bed was messy and the window was slightly open, allowing a breeze to flow through the room.
"Alpha? Mitch isn't in here." Kirstie called.
Kevin sighed. "Scott? Is Mitch in there with you? He isn't in the room and we need to talk." Kevin heard pounding inside the room and the door was unlocked and pulled open, revealing a very messy bed-haired Scott with dark bags under his eyes. His breath smelled and he looked just downright awful.
"What did you just say?!" Scott said.
"We need to talk -"
"Before that!"
"Mitch isn't in the room, sir." KIrstie said, peeking from behind Kevin.
Scott cursed under his breath and ran across the hall into Mitch's room and looked under his pile of blankets and in his closet. He ran to the kitchen, laundry room, hallway closet and the living room. He pulled at his hair and continued cursing under his breath. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck... Fucking fuck!" He yelled, tears pooling down his cheeks. He turned to Kevin who was still in front of the bedroom. "What day is it?!"
"The twentieth." Kevin mumbled.
"I fucked up... Kevin, I fucked up."
"Okay, please stop cursing in front of Kirstie and just calm-"
"Mitch is fucking missing!" Scott yelled loudly. "How the hell am I supposed to calm down?! I missed Valentine's Day with him! I promised to make it a fun day for him and I fucking ruined it because Avi decided to tell me about fucking Mark and Mason and of course I just had to get fucking depressed about them and I avoided talking or touching my Omega which lead to him fucking running away! I can't fucking calm down, Kevin! The last I talked to him was a fucking week ago." Scott rambled and yelled.
He stormed into his room and changed into clean clothes and shoved his shoes on. He grabbed his keys and ran his fingers through his hair in the mirror before running back out of the room and grabbing Kirstie.
"Kirstie, please tell me Mitch told you something about running away. Something like where he'd go if something bad happened." Scott said.
"I'm sorry, Alpha. He hasn't told me anything..."Kirstie replied, grabbing Kevin's hand. Scott let out a whine and he grabbed at his hair.
"Scott. We'll find him. Don't worry. We'll call the cops, have them send out officers to search-"
"I can't wait that long, Kevin. I'll just go out by myself." Scott grumbled then hurried out of the apartment.
After hours of running around, calling Mitch's name, asking people if they've seen Mitch and getting lost, Scott gave up and slumped in the middle of an alleyway. He placed his face in his hands and let out a muffled scream before breaking down into loud cries.
He stood up and turned to the brick wall behind him, bringing his fist back and punching the wall mulitple times. He stopped when a piece of the brick flew off and hit him in the face. He slumped down to his knees and rest his head against the cold brick until he calmed down. He ignored the throbbing pain in his hand and did his best to backtrack to the apartment.
"So stupid..." He mumbled to himself. "Ignored an Omega for nearly a week, left him starving and dirty and alone... Avi's right, I can't handle an Omega... I'm not ready for it... I'm not stable enough..."
Once the apartment building came into view, he noticed several cop cars surronding it and just assumed one of his neighbors got caught with drugs again and went up to his floor. He strolled down the hallway and heard talking in one of the rooms. The closer he got, the more the talking could be heard.
Scott finally got to his apartment and noticed his door was open. He walked in and saw cops surrounding his living room. A couple of cops were coming out of Mitch's room but all Scott could focus on, was his Omega standing in front of his room.
