Sensory Overload

Sorry for the late upload, I was working on a new book I'm working on as well as trying to keep my grades high enough since tomorrow is when the grading period ends. 

"Omega?" Scott peeked inside Mitch's room to see the Omega slowly waking up from a nap.

"Yes?" Mitch sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Sorry to bother you, love. Quinn won't stop crying and we both know she loves her mom." Scott stepped into the room and Quinn, who was in his arms, started crying and reaching for Mitch.

"Awe, come here, baby." Mitch held out his arms and Scott stepped over to place Quinn in Mitch's arms. "Has she been fed?"

"Yep. I think she just neeps her nap. You're welcome to sleep some more if you'd like. The other two are still sleeping."

"I'd like that. Goodnight, Alpha." Mitch yawned. Scott leaned over and kissed Mitch's lips then kiss Quinn's forehead before standing in the doorway.

"Night, love." He switched off the light and left the room, leaving his babies to rest.

Scott ran up the flight of stairs when he heard the babies crying loudly. He had just returned from his run he took while Mitch was asleep. He barged into Mitch's room to see the Omega sitting on the bed, covering his ears tightly.

"Omega?" Scott walked over and grabbed Mitch's wrists. Mitch jerked back violently.

"Make them stop crying... Please... I don't know what to do, they wouldn't stop." Mitch cried.

"Hey, calm down. H-Here. Play your calming music." Scott fished his phone and earbuds from the pocket of his workout jeans and handed them to Mitch. "I'll be right back, love."

Mitch plugged in the headphones and played his playlist while covering himself with a blanket. The calming sounds lowered his heartbeat and he felt himself falling asleep to the sound. He then jumped when he felt a hand on his knee and he pulled out the headphones, silence filling his ears.

"They were just cranky cause it was hot in the room. They're asleep now, no need to worry." Scott said, he carefully crawled beside Mitch and placed a hand on his thigh. "What's wrong, love?"

"I don't know... Just everything felt super loud and it was hurting my ears and I just couldn't stop it..." Mitch said, cuddling into Scott's chest.

"Probably sensory overload. You haven't gotten much sleep have you?" Scott titled Mitch's head up with two fingers and inspected the tired bags that laid under his eyes. "Why don't you take the day off, love? I'll watch the kids downstairs and you sleep up here. Sound good?"

"But-"

"You need your rest, Omega. The day's already half over, it'll be alright. I promise."

"Okay, sir. At least wake me up for dinner?" Mitch said, crawling under his duvet.

"Of course. I'll make something easy or if you'd like something ordered."

"I'll see what I'm in the mood for later. Kiss me." Mitch ordered once he was comfortably laying down. Scott smirked and leaned down, practically shoving his tongue into Mitch's mouth and kissing him rough and dirty. Mitch let out a soft moan and gripped Scott's bicep when the Alpha caressed the side of his face.

Mitch pushed Scott away and stared at him with wide eyes. "Alpha! No doing the dirty right now!" He scolded.

"You said to kiss you. You didn't specify how." Scott smirked and kissed Mitch's forehead before getting off the bed and leaving the room after shutting the light off.
