Scott looked at the flyer in his hands and then up at the building in front of him. He confirmed the place he was at then placed the flyer in his mouth before crutching inside. He made it to the front desk and leaned against it as he placed the flyer down.

"Hello, sir. How are you today?" The woman sitting at the desk asked, a smile on her face.

Scott awkwardly waved. "Hi. I'm fine, just. Am I at the right place for these classes?" Scott turned the flyer around and pushed it forward.

"Of course, the room is upstairs, third door on the left. There's an elevator next to the stairs." She said quickly before Scott left.

Scott went in the direction he was told and rode up the elevator, automatically seeing the room he was looking for. He knocked on it before walking in awkwardly.

"Oh, hello, Alpha! We were expecting you!" The instructor said cheerfully when Scott shut the door.

"Sorry I'm late, kinda hard to walk." Scott shrugged. He looked around the room filled with tables and chairs, a vase, flowers, ribbons, and scissors placed on top. The room was mostly filled with Omegas and the occasional Alpha so he didn't feel so out of place.

"You can take any empty seat you'd like, sir. We're about to start the class." The Beta said.

"Mitch? Come on, lazy pup." Avi said, shaking Mitch's body. The wolf yawned and turned over on his opposite side.

"Your pups are awake and I've made some breakfast. Don't want it to get cold." Avi smirked. Mitch growled lowly then rolled to his feet and stood up. He jumped onto Avi's torso and clung to him. "Yeah, that's what I thought you big baby." Avi joked and walked from the guest room to the kitchen. He placed Mitch on the ground and the wolf jumped to the bottom part of Quinn's highchair and gently nuzzled her feet with his nose so she giggled and swung her legs back and forth.

"Come on, shift back," Avi said, tugging Mitch's leg lightly as he sat at the table with several plates of food. Mitch hopped from the highchair and ran to the guest room, returning to the kitchen with one of Scott's sweaters he had taken when he packed his bag.

"Mitch, is it good for you to wear that while you and him are on break?"

"Well, I don't know. I miss him." Mitch shrugged. "It's only been a day, I know, but, I just miss us. Nothing going wrong, just us two and the kids."

"It'll work itself out, don't worry," Avi said, pushing the chair in front of him forward, inviting the seat to Mitch. Mitch skipped over and sat down, grabbing a spare plate and cutting up some pancakes and small pieces of bacon for Quinn since she hadn't been fed. The other two sat quietly, eating their food with their syrup covered hands.

"Alpha Avi! I said not to give them syrup! It's a handful to clean up!" Mitch scolded.

"I'm sorry, they're just so cute, I had to!" Avi reached to the side of him where Cody was and pinched his cheek gently. Cody giggled and stuffed a piece of pancake into his mouth. Mitch smiled and started to eat himself, taking a glance at the babies now and then.

"That's wonderful, Alpha!" The Beta instructor said as she walked over, admiring the vase of coloured roses Scott had put together. "I've never seen something this good for a first timer."

Scott blushed and finished curling one of the pieces of ribbon and set down his scissors. The class finished soon after he was done and he placed his vase of flowers into a plastic bag to carry as he ubered home.

Scott went to the bar counter when he got up to the penthouse and sat on one of the stools. He gently peeled away the plastic bag from the flowers, set the bag aside and stared at the vase from a distance.

Scott's breath picked up and tears filled his eyes as he felt anger, regret and despair bubbling in his chest. He grabbed the vase, hopped off the stool and turned around, throwing the vase into the living room. He didn't expect the vase to shatter the glass coffee table but it didn't make any difference that Scott lost his balance, falling onto his elbow making him cry out.

He turned onto his back and crawled backwards to the couch and leaned against the back frame of it, tears pooling down his face as he held his elbow with his opposite hand.

"Fuck..." He whispered to himself, leaning his head back and growling lowly. "I'm sorry, Mitch... I'm so sorry..."

Scott then gasped and turned to his knees, hunching over and gagging. "N-No no no no! Fuck!" Scott said with gritted teeth as he felt his bones popping and cracking as they disoriented themselves.

"No! Please!" Scott cried out as his spine cracked and he sobbed. He then felt a low growl in his chest and he heard his skin and clothes tearing and falling to the floor underneath him. The next thing Scott knew, he had woken up in an unknown forest, surrounded by pools of blood.
