Scott turned his head against the pillows, opening one eye to see Mitch straddling his hips, his arms crossed over his chest. He reached behind him and gripped Mitch's waist before mandhandling him down onto the bed and cuddling against him. "What are you doing up so early?" He mumbled.

"It's ten o'clock." MItch said, rubbing his hands through Scott's hair.

"Is that why you're pouty? Hungry?"

"Very hungry, Alpha." Mitch nodded.

"Alright then, come on." Scott got out of the bed and stretched before helping Mitch onto his feet and the two went to the kitchen. "What do you want?"

"Cake."

"No cake. It's not good for breakfast."

"Somewhere it's night time and they're having it for dessert."

"Barely getting better from being sick and you're already sassy." Scott teased. "How about some cereal? I can put sugar in it."

"Yes please." Mitch said, changing his attitude so Scott wouldn't be too upset at him.

"Sit at the table, I bring it to you." Scott said, pulling a box of Cherrios from the cabinet. He watched Mitch leave and glanced over at the junk mail pile before hurrying to fix Mitch's breakfast. Once he finished the bowl of cereal, he carried over to Mitch and set it in front of him while kissing his cheek. "I'm going to get your medicine, alright? Eat it all, it's not good to take medicine on an empty stomach."

Scott then paused for a moment. "Or with a belly full of sugar." Scott stuck his tongue out childisly and Mitch blew a raspberry before watching Scott go back into the kitchen where he stored the medicine. Scott read over the medicines once more before pouring the correct amount of Nyquil in the cap and grabbing a glass of water to put the packet of Chloraseptic into.

He brought the medicine to Mitch and set it beside him. "So, Mitch?" Scott sat down across the table and glanced up at Mitch who looked up quickly and caused a bit of milk to spill down his lips. He tapped his own lips and Mitch grabbed a paper towel from the holder in the middle of the table and wiped his mouth. "You know how Valentine's Day is in two days?"

Mitch saw Scott's cheeks turn red and he felt squirmish and his own cheeks changed color. He placed his hands in his lap and he let a smile grow to his face. "Yes, sir."

"How would you like if I take you on a date that day?" Scott reached across the table and held his hand out. He grabbed Mitch's hand once Mitch offered it to him and ran his thumb across Mitch's knuckles.

"I'd love to, Alpha." Mitch smiled and then covered his face, embarresed of how red he was. Scott laughed at that and stood up, walking around the table to lift Mitch's chin up and plant a longing kiss to his lips. "Scott, you're going to get sick!" Mitch scolded, pulling from the kiss when Scott tried to deepen it.

"Sorry, couldn't help myself." Scott chuckled and sat back down, this time next to Mitch. He wrapped his arms around Mitch's torso and rested his head against Mitch's shoulder. Mitch scooted into Scott's embrace and downed his medicine, washing it down with the leftover milk in his bowl. "All done?" Scott asked after Mitch finished all his medicine.

"Yes sir. Cuddle time on the couch?"

"Of course."

"I'm scared, Alpha... Last time we were here with Alpha Avi..." Mitch whimpered.

"I know, sweetie. I won't fight him again but I will protect you from him if he tries anything, I promise." Scott rubbed Mitch's knuckles with his fingers and brought their hands up to kiss the brunette's fingers. "If anything happens, I'll just let you go upstairs with Kirstie. Sound good?"

Mitch nodded, anxiety rising in his chest as they neared Kirstie's house. The two went up the driveway, Scott remembering Mitch didn't like going over the grass and Scott knocked on the door a few times. Mitch hid behind Scott's body and balled his fists in Scott's shirt tightly.

The door soon opened, revealing Kevin behind it. "Oh, hey, Scott." Kevin mumbled awkwardly.

"Bad time?" Scott rose an eyebrow.

"No, just you haven't been here in three weeks. Nearly thought you weren't even going to come back."

"Just decided to give it some time. May we come in?" Scott asked.

"We?" Kevin looked around Scott's broad frame to see Mitch's small, shaking one. "You kept him?"

Scott squinted at Kevin and took in a deep breath. "Look, if you're just going to scold me and insult my Omega-"

Kevin held his hands up in defense. "I didn't even say anything to insult him, it just surprised me. Just, come in, you know Avi's not going to be happy."

Scott rolled his eyes. "I don't care about that. If he dares say anything about me or Mitch, there might be more than just some blood staining your carpet." Kevin took in a deep breath and pushed open the door and walked away from the doorway.

Mitch grabbed Scott's waist. "Alpha, w-we don't have to go in if y-you don't want to." Mitch stuttered, fear in his voice.

Scott turned and crouched down to be eye level with Mitch. "Mitch, it has to happen sooner or later, let's just get it over with. Valentine's Day is tomorrow and we're going to have the best day of our lives."

"Promise?" Mitch whispered, fiddling with his thumbs.

"I promise, baby. I'll shower you with as many gifts, cuddles and kisses as you want." Scott pulled Mitch towards him and peppered kisses along his cheeks, Mitch giggling loudly. The two heard loud barks and soon, something white and big tackled both Scott and Mitch sending them to the ground. Scott held onto Mitch tightly so he didn't get hurt and felt something wet rapidly licking his cheeks.

"Puppy!" Mitch squealed loudly, pushing himself from Scott's hold and holding his arms out towards the white dog which jumped into Mitch's lap and started licking along his face.

"Olaf! Come here, boy!" Kirstie yelled from inside, the dog jumping from Mitch back into the house. Scott stood up and helped Mitch onto his feet before walking into the house and shutting the door behind him.

"Sorry. Early Valentine's present." Kirstie apologized, going to the kitchen to get a wet rag. Mitch got onto his knees and played with the puppy as Scott glanced over at Kevin with a sly smirk.

"Really? A dog?"

"Can't say no to her. Been asking for one for two years now." Kevin shrugged.

Kirstie bounced back into the hallway and handed Scott a rag which Scott cleaned his face with, offering the opposite side to Mitch. Mitch stood up and patted his face clean, following Kirstie back into the kitchen to dispose of it properly. Scott went to the couch and sat down, Mitch suddenly by his side and sitting next to him.

"Matt! Avi!" Kevin called, Mitch's once cheerful mood dropping and anxiety pooled through his chest once more.

"Want the pup to help calm you?" Scott offered, looking up at Kevin for permisson. Once both Kevin and Mitch approved, Scott called Olaf who happily jumped onto Scott and Mitch's lap and got comfortable.

Mitch ran his fingers through Olaf's soft coat and tensed up when he saw Avi and an unfamiliar man coming down the steps.
