Scott heard his phone ring and grabbed it, holding it up to his face so he could see it. He sighed heavily and looked down at Mitch who sleeping peacefully against his side, dried tear streams staining his cheeks. He stood up slowly and rested Mitch horizontally on the couch before treading upstairs.
There, he changed into his military outfit and grabbed his already prepared duffle bag. He went back down to see Mitch in the kitchen, searching in the fridge for whatever it was he desired.
"Love?" Scott called out, setting his bag on the floor by the elevator. "Beau is about to be here soon, come here."
Mitch walked from the kitchen, his fluffy blanket wrapped around his shoulders, swallowing his frame completely. He went to Scott and laid his head against Scott's chest, sniffling quietly.
Scott wrapped his arms around Mitch tightly and kissed the top of his head. The two hugged in silence before Scott's phone rung again. Scott pulled from the hug and pulled his phone from his pocket and looked at it. He mumbled to himself quietly before tucking the phone away.
"He's here?" Mitch asked, taking a step back from Scott.
"Yeah, I better get going." Scott grabbed his duffle and slug it over his shoulder. "Avi and the others will be over with the kids soo-"
Mitch reached up and pulled Scott's head down to kiss him deeply. He stood on his tippy toes to wrap his arms around his Alpha's neck to keep him still.
Scott dropped his bag to grasp Mitch's waist and kiss him properly. He felt Mitch's hands shaking around the back of his neck so he grabbed his wrists, pulling them from his neck to grasp his hands.
"Love, I have to go." Scott whispered, Mitch shaking his head. He gently grasped Mitch's arms and pushed him away to crouch down. "Just don't think about it, I'll be back sooner than you know. We can Snapchat and Facetime everyday if you'd like."
Mitch nodded and wiped his eyes. "I'm going to miss you."
"I'm going to miss you too, love." Scott stood back up and hugged Mitch again.
It took another few minutes of talking for Mitch to finally let Scott leave.
Scott pressed the button for the elevator and grabbed his duffle bag. "See you later, Omega. I love you."
"I love you too, Alpha." Mitch watched Scott step into the elevator when it opened and he felt his chest tighten. Scott pressed the lobby button and met eyes with Mitch again, waving lightly as the doors shut.

"Mitch?" Avi knocked on the door gently before opening it, peeking inside Mitch's room.
Mitch laid on his side, staring at the wall, the room completely dark.
"Mitch?"Avi walked in and sat behind Mitch on the bed, Mitch scooting closer to the wall to over him room. "You need to get out of the room, Omega. You can't mope in here forever."
"Just for the next two years." Mitch mumbled He then groaned and tried to force all his weight down when Avi picked him up.
"Come on you big baby, I'm sure your pups will be excited to see you." Avi hoisted Mitch into his arms and carried him downstairs, dropping him on the couch and walking away.
Bailey noticed her mom in the room so she started crying for attention, Mitch letting out a sigh before rolling off the couch and crawling over to Bailey to lay on the floor in front of her. Bailey giggled and grabbed a hold of Mitch's short hair to tug at it and slap his face.
Mitch let out a defeated groan and sat up, tucking his feet under him to play with Bailey and her styrofoam blocks. Cody crawled over and grasped Mitch's shirt, whining loudly until he was picked up.

"Kevin?" Mitch slowly walked downstairs, afraid of waking Quinn who was in the older male's arms, sleeping peacefully.
Kevin looked from the t.v and saw Mitch. He stood up with Quinn and handed her to Mitch when he got over. "She just fell asleep, careful."
"Thanks again for coming over, Alpha. I appreciate it." Mitch said, holding Quinn carefully. "I'll be right back, let me put her in the crib."
Kevin watched Mitch leave upstairs and return with the baby monitor. The two sat out the couch, watching MastersChef on the mounted television.
"So, I know we haven't talked much since what happened." Kevin mumbled quietly. "It's been a few years, huh?"
Mitch shifted awkwardly on the couch and nodded. "Yeah..."
"Listen, I know I've never gotten the chance to really apologize so I might as well do it now. I'm sorry for creating a gap in your relationship with Scott. I know it was wrong for me to step in like I did and I don't know why I did it. There was a part of me that didn't trust Scott and I was just scared he'd hurt you or worse."
"Alpha, you don't have to apologize, you know I forgive you." Mitch said. Kevi looked over with a small smile.
"Well, just know, I don't want things to be as awkward with us."
"It doesn't have to be awkward unless you make it so." Mitch grinned.
"Well, did I ever tell you I met a nice Omega?" Mitch gasped and shook his head.
"Tell me about her!"

Carl-coral-Grimes asks to Scott and Mitch: When your babies are older, do you think you'll be strict?
Scott: Most likely. More so to Quinn since Alphas are the hardest to get to listen, according to Matt.
Mitch: Cody is a sweetheart, I don't think he'll have much trouble listening to us in the future, as well as Bailey. She's quiet and understands better than the others.
