"How's your leg doing?" Beau asked, reaching up and pulling himself up to his bunk.

Scott stripped his shirt and threw it on the foot of his bed. "Better than before but still stops me from doing my workout to the maximum." He popped open his pill bottle and fished a bottle of water from the chest at the foot of the bunk bed.

"Damn, you've really gotten buffer," Beau said, peeking over the edge of the bed. "No wonder Mitch is so obsessed with you."

Scott chuckled and his cheeks burned red. He heard the door to the dorm rooms opening and was quick to stand in front of the beds, Beau following just as fast. They were spoked to by their General Major.

"Alright, soldiers! Tomorrow's the big day! We plan on rushing to the front lines and the Wolf Pack, we need you outside, now! Dismissed."

"Sir yes, Sir!" Everyone shouted. Once they were released, Scott grabbed a shirt and tugged it one, following Beau and the others out of the rooms.

Anxiety pooled into Scott's chest when the group was piled into the backs of several cars and driven to the far lines. It took several hours to get to the lines but they heard several gunshots, the tires going out and someone got shot in the back of the head.

Everyone scrambled out of the trucks and dove down into the ditch. Everyone was handed helmets and a gun. Beau and Scott collapsed against the dirt wall and they flinched when they heard the gunshots coming from several miles away.

"Alright, wolves, we're going to need you to shift now before we go any further."

Blinding lights shone from the ditch and when it disappeared, all that was left were a pack of over 50 wolves. The two that stood out the most were the large blond wolf and the brunette next to it.

The sergeant continued to explain how the wolves were to attack within the next 12 hours. When he was done, the wolves lined up in front of dug up tunnels that lead all the way to the back of the enemies trail. Scott was leading one, Beau another.

The two large wolf's carried a pack of grenades in their mouths, the wolves behind them carrying healing supplies. The pack laid down and slept until the sun started the rise. Scott barked when he saw the sun, waking up his line of wolves.

He started going into the tunnels, rocking behind him every so often to do a headcount before continuing forward. He saw a light at the end of the tunnel after an hour of walking and the ground rumbling loudly, specs of dirt falling on top of the Pack.

Scott grunted and continued walking forward. He dropped the pack of grenades and crawled out of the hole, making sure the coast was clear before leading his line to a ditch prepared for them. They all laid down and waited for the tracker around their necks to start beeping.

Scott felt the dog tag around his neck dangling and hitting his feet as he laid down and shut his eyes, a small tear falling into the dirt. He grabbed a grenade in his mouth and made sure the pin was facing out. A wolf came up latched onto the pin, waiting for the tracker signal patiently.

Mitch giggled as Cody crawled to Avi and climbed onto his lap, tugging at his beard when he was picked up.

"Mitch? Where is Bailey?" Kevin asked as he came out of the bathroom.

"She's napping. The baby monitor is on the coffee table." Mitch replied, gasping when Quinn latched onto the back of his pants and tried to pull herself up. He quickly pulled his pants back up and turned around to pick up Quinn.

"Naughty!" He scolded, Quinn growling as she twisted in her mom's arms until she saw Matt and cried for him.

"Awe. Come here." Matt set his book down and got onto the floor to get Quinn to crawl to him.

Mitch heard crying coming from the baby monitor and got off the ground, heading upstairs. He went into the nursery and peeked into one of the cribs, Bailey giggling when she saw Mitch.

Mitch picked up Bailey and carried her downstairs, a sudden pain shooting through his neck. Kevin, who was going to take Bailey from Mitch caught the Omega when he nearly fell.

"You alright?"

"They're fighting... I can feel his pain." Mitch whispered with tears in his eyes. Kevin took Bailey and helped Mitch to the couch. Mitch winced again and whimpered, hiding his face in Kevin's chest.

"Try not to think about it, Mitch. Just distract yourself." Kevin said, rubbing Mitch's arm to comfort him. Avi climbed onto the couch next to the two and held Cody on his lap as he rubbed Mitch's back.
