"I'm only willing to help if you're certain that Noah is not going to be taken by them."

"We can not promise anything but we will do anything in our power to make sure your baby isn't taken. Alpha. Just trust us, please?" Nicole asked.

Scott looked over at Mitch who was holding Noah. He then noticed Mickey sitting in a chair in the corner, his knees pulling up to his chest as he stared at nothing. He went over to Mitch, crouching down to see Noah in his arms. The blue-eyed brunette looked over at Scott.

He then stood up again, facing Nicole. "If anything and I mean, anything happens to my son-"

"Trust us, Alpha. Everything is going to go smoothly." Nicole said, holding out her hand. "You can trust me."

Scott took Nicole's hand in his own then let it fall to his side. "So, what's going to happen?"

-

Scott looked down at Mitch who was reading his book, one leg tossed over the other. He pressed his lips to the side of Mitch's head then used his foot to bring Noah's stroller closer to him.

"This is freaking cliche. Do they expect this to work?" Mitch mumbled, turning the page.

"They recent kidnappings did occur at parks so they're hoping for some of the guys to turn up here." Scott huffed, bringing his arm around Mitch's shoulder. He looked around the park again and noticed someone in a hoodie across the park, sitting down and making it not so obvious he was peering around.

"Him. He even seems like a rookie so it won't be too hard to catch him." Scott said, pressing his fingers to Mitch's neck to get his attention. He then pointed a finger in the direction he was looking. "I'm going to call them now."

"Okay, Alpha." Scott pulled his phone from his pocket, stared at it for a moment then stood up, pointing to the tree a few meters away then walked off.

Mitch watched him go then looked back at his book. He glanced up a few times, noticed the man Scott mentioned stand up and start walking along the bike trail, the trail leading to Mitch. He looked back at the book and then stared at Noah. He picked up the baby, smelt his bum then set him back down. He locked the back wheels of the stroller then said a small prayer. He stood up, jogged over to Scott, tapped his arm, pointed at Noah then ran to the parking lot.

Scott stared at Noah for a few minutes as he continued to talk to Nicole and the police officers on the other line. He noticed the man walking stopped to pretend to tie his shoelaces. He then turned around, mumbling a few words before hanging up the phone and facing the parking lot where he saw Mitch grabbing the diaper bag out of the car.

He heard a sharp cry and he turned around quickly, a low growl rumbling in his throat when he saw the man look up from the stroller. He had Noah in his arms, the baby crying loudly. Scott's eyes turned bright red and he ran over, the man quickly turning around and running in the opposite direction.

He stopped when the cops came onto the trail, their hands on their gun belt and their own eyes all different shades of red. "Put the baby down, slowly!"

The man turned around and tried to run the opposite way but flinched when Scott was right behind him, his lips pulled back as he snarled. Mitch came around Scott and he looked the man up and down, smelling that he was a Beta. The man held out Noah immediately, his body shaking greatly as Scott toward over him. Mitch stepped in front of Scott, taking Noah then running off to the bench where his stuff was.

"L-Look I-I was just following orders." The Beta stuttered, shaking his head when his arms were pulled behind him. He was told to remain silent and once he was restrained, Scott grabbed the Beta by his jacket and pulled him up and close, his feet nearly coming off the ground.

"The next time you think you can get away with stealing fucking children," Scott spat. "Remember me and just think of how long it takes a Savage to rip someone up to pieces." He then growled loudly and the Beta stumbled back in fear, the officers taking him away quickly.

Scott watched the man leave and he turned around, seeing Mitch holding Noah close to him and calming the baby down. He walked over, Mitch standing on his tippy toes to wrap one arm around Scott and hide his face in his neck.

"I was so scared, Alpha..." Mitch whispered, releasing Scott again and looking down at Noah who was still crying.

"I know you were, love. It's okay, everything went just as planned." Scott lingered a kiss to Mitch's forehead then offered his arms to Noah. Mitch handed Noah over and he tucked himself under one of Scott's arms, his own tiny ones wrapping around Scott's waist. "This is only the first part though, luckily he won't have to be involved with the second part."

Mitch huffed and sat on the bench. "I want this to be over so, so badly." He whimpered. Scott sat next to Mitch and brought him close. "Do you have to go with them?"

"I know you don't want me to, love but I made a deal with the police. I want those fucking assholes to be in behind bars."

"Language," Mitch whispered.

"I'm sorry." Scott sighed and he shut his eyes as he relaxed his body, keeping a tight hold on Noah. "Come on, let's get home." Scott stood up, placing Noah back in the stroller to push him to the parking lot.
