Scott hurried into Mitch's room when he heard loud whimpers and cries. He saw tossing and turning on the bed and ran over, grabbing Mitch's shoulders and pulling him up so he could sit on the bed and pull Mitch in his lap.

"Baby, wake up, love," Scott said, shaking Mitch gently. Mitch calmed down but still whimpered. The boy pulled the sheets closer to him then turned in Scott's lap. His eyes fluttered open and he looked up at Scott who was watching him with careful eyes.

Scott rubbed Mitch's arms. "He's okay, he's in his crib."

"Can I see him?" Mitch whispered, wiping his face on his sheets. He sat against the wall and Scott got off the bed and walked off to the other side of the room. He picked up Noah who was suckling on a pacifier and sleeping soundly. He stared at the baby for a few moments before turning and going to back to Mitch. He sat on the bed and handed him over to Mitch.

Mitch held Noah tightly and stared at him.

"I'm sorry, Mitch," Scott said, scooting over and bringing Mitch to him. "We should never have done that setup."

"Hold me, please?" Mitch turned sideways so his head rested on Scott's chest and he curled up. Scott wrapped his arms around Mitch tightly and whispered sweet nothings to the shaking Omega.

-

"We finally have a lead on a warehouse that might hold all these kids," Nicole said, turning from her work table and facing Scott. "But, we don't actually have all the right evidence to prove it just yet."

"What did that guy say about the rest of the group?"

"Only that they're a pack of Betas and Alphas," Nicole said and she thought for a moment. "They have two Savages. They would threaten and kill those who refused to do their jobs or tried to rebel out."

"If they do that to their own people, who knows what they do to the kids." Scott sat down on a chair by Nicole's computer. "Can I go into interrogation with him? I'm sure I can get some stuff outta him."

"Let me go ask someone." Nicole left the room then returned with an officer.

"Come on, Hoying. You can wait in the questioning room then we'll bring him in." Scott smirked and stood up.

-

"Come on, Alpha. Calm down." The officer said when Scott came out of the room, his eyes red and he nearly let himself go. Several other cops were around Scott, keeping a careful eye on him. "You did well. Thank you for everything. We have your Omega waiting in the lobby for you."

Scott stopped and he took in a deep breath. He did his best to calm himself down and then let the officer direct him to the waiting room. He saw Mitch stand up from where he was and walk over with a jacket of own.

Mitch stood on his tippy toes, wrapping the jacket around Scott's shoulders and zipping it up. Scott lowered his head, breathing in Mitch's lingering scent. His eyes lowered in hue and Mitch smiled, grabbing Scott's hand firmly.

"Come on, Alpha. You've had a long day." Mitch reached up to run his fingers over Scott's jawline before linking their hands and leading him outside to where Avi and Kevin were parking, waiting.

He helped Scott into the back seat and Scott looked around, seeing the empty car seats. He then turned back to Mitch with a worried look.

"They're with Matt back at home. They were all napping. It's alright, Alpha." Mitch shut the door once he got in and he put his seatbelt, helping Scott put his on before holding his hand and comfortably nestling up to him.

Scott looked down, squeezing Mitch's hand and scooting closer to him.

-

Mitch smiled when he saw Scott playing with the triplets in the living room. He was on his side, the babies in front of him. Quinn was pulling at his prosthetic, trying to get it off. Cody was throwing small rubber balls at Scott and Bailey was ferociously scribbling on a note pad with crayons.

"Alpha? Are you hungry?" Mitch called, leaning over the couch to see Scott. Scott looked up and he winced when Cody stood up and started to pull his beard for his attention.

"I could eat. What are you making?" Scott sat up and held onto Cody so he stopped grabbing his hair.

"Not sure. Matt hasn't gone shopping yet so we're a little low on stuff to make." Mitch hummed, walking over and taking Quinn when he noticed Scott's prosthetic was starting to slip. Quinn protested but calmed when Mitch undressed her and let her wander.

"Want to go out?" Scott asked.

"Sure you want to? It's only been a few days since that warehouse was searched."

"I can protect you and the babies." Scott used one hand to fix his leg then looked up at Mitch. "Help me up?"

"Can't even get yourself off the ground." Mitch teased and walked over. He grabbed Scott's hand and helped him onto his feet.

"You're lucky I have a baby in my arms." Scott pinched Mitch's hip before going to the guest room. Quinn ran and followed him.

-

"Da!" Quinn pointed to the cheesy fries plate Scott had in front of him.

"Hold on, baby. You'll get your food." Scott said, bringing a spare plate to him and brought a few full spoonfuls of the fries onto the plate. He set it on the table in front of the baby and she went wild at the plate.

Mitch chuckled and took the plate for himself to feed Bailey and Cody. "She's like you when you're hungry."

Scott glared at Mitchell and took a fork full of the fries and stuffed it in his mouth. "I don't know what you're talking about." He mumbled and Mitch giggled.

Mitch took a small bite of the fries and he continued to feed the babies, keeping a close eye on Quinn as she continued to stuff her face. He kept Noah in his arms, feeding him with a bottle.

Once the two were finished with their snack like lunch, Mitch and Scott took the kids to a private park, Mitch staying on the benches with Noah as Scott played with the kids in the small sandbox. Scott kept a close eye and open ear on Mitch and Noah.

They got home just a few hours later, all babies unharmed and napping. Mitch was in wolf form, laying on the cold windowsill and grooming himself. Scott stared at Mitch from the couch, smiling as he already felt everything going back to normal.
