Quit Arguing

Mitch climbed over the seat when he was done strapping in Quinn and turned onto his knees, grinning at her as he heard the car doors shutting. He turned over and jumped when Scott climbed in beside him, pushing his opposite hip against the car seat Bailey was in. He scooted closer to the seat and draped his arm over it to coo at Bailey as she cried quietly.

"Those babies are going to spoiled rotten in just a few weeks," Kevin said, tilting the rearview mirror down to look back at Mitch.

Mitch then gasped. "I lost track of time! It's going to be their birthday's!" Mitch grinned widely, Scott looking over and swallowing the lump in his throat.

"Can we throw a party?!" Avi teased, glancing up at Kevin with wide eyes then turned to Mitch and winked.

"Not at ours. I don't need the babies trashing the house when they first turn." Kevin groaned.

"Yes, but we have a patio and live on the top floor, it's too dangerous at ours," Mitch said, sticking his tongue out. Kevin reached behind him and tried tickling Mitch's legs, the Omega squealing and kicking his hands away.

Kevin laughed and turned back to face the road. Avi looked back to see Mitch calming down Bailey as he had hit her car seat during his thrashing against Kevin. He looked to his left and saw Scott staring out the window, no hint of a smile on his face.

"When are you going to tell him?" Scott looked down with tired eyes as Avi pushed on his chest to keep him from moving.

"I'm not in the mood right now, Avi," Scott said, trying to push his way past the shorter Alpha but his one leg gave him a disadvantage as Avi could easily step in front of the blond to keep him from moving, which is what he exactly did.

"Don't you remember what I said? If you don't tell him, I will. Do not wait until the last minute and hurt him even more." Avi said in a hushed whisper, knowing Mitch was still behind Scott in the car, waiting patiently to get out.

"I said I'm not in the mood," Scott growled.

"Quit being stubborn," Avi yelled.

"I said I'm not in the mood!" Scott shouted, shoving Avi harshly, making the Alpha fall to his rear end, nearly hitting his head on the car door, though he scrapped his elbow on the concrete ground.

"Alpha, what is going on?" Mitch pushed his way past Scott, tired of waiting in the car and went to Avi's side quickly.

"Scott cheated on you, Mitch, and he's being an ass and not telling you!" Avi growled, taking Mitch's offered hand and got to his feet.

Scott growled threateningly and his eyes went dark red.

"I know." Scott froze and he snapped his eyes over to Mitch, the color going back to blue in milliseconds. Mitch scoffed at Scott's look. "What, you didn't think I would feel it in my Mark?"

"Mitch, i-it didn't mean anything to me. I-I swear." Scott found his balance and hopped forward to Mitch, attempting to grab his shoulder.

Mitch smacked it away quickly. "Don't touch me." Mitch went to the opposite side of the car, opened the door and got Bailey out of her car seat. Kevin had Cody in his arms and Quinn hobbling beside him. The two went inside the apartment building lobby, leaving Scott and Avi outside.

"Way to ruin my relationship, jackass," Scott growled, slamming the car door shut.

"I think you've already done that, Scott. Should've thought twice before sleeping with that bartender." Avi scoffed, running catch up with Mitch and the others.

-

"Mitch, you know I didn't mean to have sex with him, right?" Scott asked, following Mitch into the kitchen.

"I don't know if I should believe you or not, Scott," Mitch said, washing his hands and drying them on a rag.

"Omega, please-"

Mitch turned around and swiped his hand across Scott's face. "You lied to me. You refused to tell me you cheated and thought I wouldn't find out. Did you plan on not just telling me at all?"

Scott refused to look back at Mitch, the shakiness in his voice telling him his Omega was already about to cry.

"I trusted you, Scott." Mitch whimpered. "I wouldn't be this upset if you would've just told me yourself. Don't bother coming upstairs. You're staying in the guest room." Mitch sniffled, pushing his way past Scott and practically running up to his room.

Scott hobbled over to the metallic fridge and turned his head to see the red mark Mitch left across his face then swallowed the lump in his throat. He looked at the digital clock on the oven, four in the morning. He grunted and went into the living room, sitting on the couch and turning the t.v on.

He didn't even realize he hadn't fallen asleep until Mitch came back downstairs, holding Quinn in his arms who was sleeping. Mitch yawned and placed Quinn right by Scott then left back upstairs.

Scott looked down at Quinn then reached around to pick her up to hold her in his own arms, Mitch's scent still on her making him grumble lowly. Quinn rubbed her head against Scott's chest and cuddled up to him for warmth.

Mitch came back down with the two other kids, going to the dining room and sitting them in their highchairs. He then disappeared into the kitchen, Scott hearing the rattling of silverware, cereal boxes and the fridge opening multiple times. Scott stood up, put on one crutch and hobbled into the kitchen, Quinn still in his arms.

"Mitch-"

"I'm not in the mood to talk, Alpha. Just drop it." Mitch said, carrying two small bowls of cereal to the kitchen table and setting them down on the little tables included in the high chairs.

Cody and Bailey started eating right away, Mitch smiling and going back to the kitchen but was stopped by a hand on his bicep. Mitch grimaced and tried to push Scott's hand off of him and succeeded but then his chin was grabbed roughly and his head was pulled up so he saw Scott's red eyes.

"Don't try to walk away from this. We're talking and I mean it." Scott said lowly.

"Says the one who wouldn't even tell me he cheated." Mitch tried to back away but a whine escaped his lips when Scott pulled him forward.

"Quit arguing." Scott said and then let go of Mitch's chin and put Quinn in his arms. He crutched to the couch and shut off the t.v before going to the guest room and shutting the door.

**************

I really lost the time periods in the story so the kids birthdays are a few weeks before Mitch's birthday from now on. I'm probably wrong about that but oh well.
