Mitch ran his fingers through his Alpha's wavy hair as the tall man laid on his lap. Scott's face was in Mitch's stomach with one arm under Mitch's leg and the other loosely wrapped around his waist.
"Are you done, Alpha?" Mitch cooed as he ran his other hand along Scott's arm.
Scott let out a mumbled reply and rolled onto his back, staring up at Mitch with his bright red eyes. He then let out a choked sob and covered his eyes again. Mitch let out a small whine and leaned down to kiss Scott's forehead.
"Let it all out, Alpha. It's alright."
Scott swallowed the lump in his throat and took in sharp breaths until he finally calmed down just enough for him to finally look up at Mitch. "I'm sorry, Omega. I didn't mean to break down like that... It's just, it's hard training and learning with other Alphas and then..." Scott shut his eyes and winced at the throbbing pain in his head.
"It's alright, Alpha. You don't have to explain. Do you have some medicine I can give you?" Mitch asked, placing his hands on Scott's shoulder to lift him into a sitting postion.
"There's some aspirin in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom." Scott mumbled, rubbing his irritated eyes and sighing. Mitch jumped off the couch and hurried to the bathroom. He grabbed what he needed and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water then returned to the couch.
"Here you are, Scott. Do you want to nap for little bit? Help clear your head?" Mitch handed the items to Scott and sat on the bed. He grabbed the T.V remote and flipped to a music channel then turned the volume down to a soft hum.
"That sounds nice. Um, this may sound... I don't know... but can I lay on your chest?" Scott asked, opening the pill bottle and shaking two into his hand before swallowing them down with half the glass of water.
"Of course you can. Come here, big boy." Mitch positioned himself comfortably on the couch and opened his arms towards Scott. Scott turned off the light and got on his knees in front of Mitch to lay against Mitch's small frame.
"I'm not hurting you at all?" Scott asked, wrapping his arms around Mitch's torso. Mitch had one arm under Scott's to rub his back and his other hand played with his hair.
"Not at all." He reached around for the throw blanket and tossed it over his and Scott's bodies, smilling as he got the perfect throw and wouldn't have to adjust it. "Goodnight, Alpha." Mitch whispered, scratching Scott's head smoothly. Mitch looked at the T.V to see what song was playing and smiled, knowing it was one of his most favorite songs listening to just weeks before leaving the Shelter. Mandy Harvey - Release Me.
"I have something to say to you. And it's just too little, too late." Mitch hummbed, staring at Scott as he continued to play with his hair. "It's time that we both face the truth. It's time we go our seperate ways. Don't know how everything got confused."
Scott's heart fluttered at Mitch's soft singing. "Can't explain the mess that we made. Oh release me. Please, release me. Oh please, let me go. Don't you have something to say to me? Do what I can't, no matter how I try. Break my heart, set me free. Just tell me goodbye..." Mitch's voice rose an octave at the last word making Scott smile and a few tears spring underneath his eyelids.
"Oh release me.. Please, release me. Oh please, release.... Release me. Oh please... Let me go." Mitch whispered the final verse as he planted his lips into Scott's hair and shut his eyes.

"An new apartment? Isn't that expensive?" Mitch questioned, looking up at Scott with wide eyes.
"Well, it is a bit pricy but I don't really mind. It'd be nice to get something better than this place. I mean, don't you think it's a bit run down?" Mitch hesitantly nodded.
"I know a place that gets a great view of L.A. It's a two bedroom but it's much better than this, I can promise you that. We'll be around more shops so walking won't be much of a problem." Scott said, showing Mitch his phone where he had pulled up photos of the apartment he planned on getting. "It's much bigger than this. What do you think?"
"I love it, Alpha. And you're sure you want to go through with this?" Mitch took Scott's phone to scroll through the pictures himself.
"Of course I do. Plus, I finally have someone else to stay with me. I want to spoil them the best I can." Scott said, gripping Mitch's waist and peppering kisses all along his cheek and jaw before settling on his neck and nibbling a small love bite into his skin.
Mitch giggled loudly before pushing Scott away and handing him his phone. "You know you don't have to spoil me, Alpha. You're all I need."
"You're sweet." Scott smiled and pulled Mitch into his waist to gift him with more kisses. "But, I do want to do something right before we move."
"And that is?"
"Take you on our first official date and ask you to officially be mine."
