Mitch took in a deep breath as he lifted his head from the toilet. He groaned lowly and grabbed a handful of toilet paper, wiping his mouth and tossing it into the toilet as he flushed it. He stood up slowly, using the sink counter for help. It took him a minute but Mitch got to his feet and he spit in the sink then grabbed his toothbrush to clean his mouth.

He flushed the toilet again and turned on the air vent as he left the bathroom, eyeing Matt and Avi who were still asleep on the bed. He went to the crib and he frowned when he saw Bailey missing from her spot. He then heard a squeal and he left the room, relaxing when he saw Kevin on the living room floor, playing with Bailey who was smashing her hands against a toy piano.

Kevin looked up when he smelt Mitch and waved.

"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty."

Mitch waved and went into the kitchen, making himself a large bowl of Fruit Loops and eating it in the kitchen. He put his dishes in the sink and reached into the cupboards to grab a box of frosted animal crackers. He carried the box to the living room and sat on the couch, one hand on his baby bump, the other in the box of cookies.

Kevin picked up Bailey and went over to the couch, sitting next to Mitch and setting Bailey on his opposite side. The Alpha laid on his side, pressing his ear to Mitch's stomach.

"Do you hear it?" Mitch asked, knowing that Alphas had a superior sense of hearing. He felt Kevin nod and he smiled, shifting when Kevin sat back up.

"What are you hoping the gender will be?" Kevin asked, taking the box of cookies, handing one to Bailey and grabbing a handful for himself.

"If I'm being honest, a boy. I want Cody to have a brother." Mitch said, rubbing his belly and scooting back on the couch. He grabbed Bailey and set her on his lap as she nibbled on her cookie. Mitch stared at Bailey and toyed with her dark blond hair.

"When is your next appointment with the doctors?" Kevin asked.

"I'm not sure, A-Alpha Scott always kept up with my appointments and anything like that."

Kevin noticed the sad tone in Mitch's voice and his lips formed a straight line. "I'll give him a call later today." Mitch nodded and leaned over, resting his head on Kevin's bicep as Bailey slid herself off the couch and waddled over to her toys, throwing her cookie on the ground somewhere in the process.

Mitch jumped when Avi came into the room and he set down the book he was reading, looking up with wide eyes. "Uh..."

"Shh." Avi held a finger to his lips and shut the door slowly. He darted to the closet and squeezed himself in, the door rolling closed. Mitch rose an eyebrow then pulled the book back up to his face, finding the place he was at.

Matt stumbled into the room and stared at Mitch. "Have you seen Avi? He was supposed to wash the dishes and he never did them!"

Mitch pointed to the closet, hearing a groan coming from it. Avi came from the closet and Matt walked towards him. Avi did his best to dupe Matt and run from the room but Matt grabbed Avi by his jacket, pulled him back then grabbed his ear to tug him out of the room.

Mitch laughed to himself as Avi and Matt left the room, Avi complaining and whining loudly. He shut his book and set it on the nightstand. He threw the blanket across the bed and he went to the bathroom. He plugged in the tub and started the tub. Mitch sat on the edge of the tub and undressed, then waited for the tub to fill up.

Once it was halfway, Mitch took his favorite body soap and squeezed a fair amount under the faucet, smiling to himself as bubbles filled the tub. Mitch folded his clothes and set them on the sink, then saw bracelet he had forgotten he even had on. He frowned, knowing he wouldn't be able to take it off without Scott's screwdriver.

Mitch huffed and went to the tub. He shut off the water then stepped in, slowly lowering himself down. He sunk down in the water, turning a bit to the side so his legs fit and he shut his eyes, enjoying the hot water.

It wasn't long until someone knocked on the door then let themselves in. Mitch sat up a bit and turned over, expecting Avi or even Kevin, barely opening his eyes and he jumped when he saw his blond Alpha standing in the doorway.

"A-Alpha Scott!" Mitch stuttered, trying to stand up but his hand slipped and the water splashed and hit Mitch in the face and some splattered out onto the floor. Scott immediately took a step forward but Mitch stopped him and carefully got out of the tub. He reached into the towel cabinet and took one out, wrapping himself in it and he finally faced Scott. "You're back so soon?"

"Uh, yeah." Scott gulped. "Do you want to talk out here? Once you dress?" He asked, pointing behind him.

"S-Sure. Can you wait on the bed?" Mitch asked. Scott nodded and was quick to leave, shutting the door behind him. Mitch took in a deep breath and he dried off the water and soap suds off of his body then put on his previous clothes. He went to the tub and reached in the water to pull the drain, then walked out of the bathroom while drying his hand with a towel. He threw the towel into his laundry basket and he felt his nerves tense when he saw Scott by the crib.

"Where are the kids?"

"Babysitter's. So, um, what are you doing back so soon? I thought you'd be gone for months." Mitch asked, sitting on the bed and looking up at Scott. "When you said we needed to separate, you usually picture a longer period of time.

"Your Mark," Scott said when he turned and stared at Mitch. "I could feel it was starting to fade. I didn't want to stay too long and it disappear." Mitch blushed and he covered his Mark with his hand, staring at the ground. Mitch opened his mouth to say something but Scott stopped him.

"I know I've said this multiple times but, I want to do better. I really do, Omega and I feel like I've got a good start. I spent some time with an old friend, made a new friend, and I know what I want to do to relieve stress and take it out on something rather than hold it in and make myself become Savage."

"What do you mean 'new friend'?" Mitch questioned.

Scott perked up and he left the room, called for something and poked his head in. "Say hello to..."

Mitch rose an eyebrow.

"Midge!" Scott popped back into the room and held out the puppy who was wagging his tail from side to side. He pulled Midge to his chest and toyed with his stump. "And look, he has a missing limb, just like me."

Mitch covered his mouth and he stood up, walking over to Scott and taking the dog from him, Scott stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Where'd you get him from?" Midge sniffed Mitch's face and licked him then cuddled in his arms as Mitch pet him.

"I was taking a run and got into a forest and he was just abandoned in a wet box. I was going to leave him and hope someone else found him but he just followed me and I gave in."

"Have you gotten him checked yet? I don't want him here when the babies get back in case he has something." Mitch said quickly.

"Don't worry, that's already taken care of, love."

Mitch felt himself look up at Scott when the pet name escaped from his mouth. Scott realized what he said and was quick to apologize.

"I'm sorry, it just came out, I -" Scott quickly shut up when Mitch stood on his toes, one hand going behind Scott's head to pull him down into a kiss.

Scott hesitantly kissed back and he took his hands out of his pockets and held onto Mitch's waist, pulling him close. Mitch jumped back when Midge barked loudly, annoyed he was being squished between the two. He turned and set the dog on the bed.

Scott grabbed Mitch's arm and turned him back around, bending his knees slightly to properly press his lips to his Omega's.
