Something short just to finally update something for once.
Scott lifted up Cody from his car seat as he cried and kicked his feet. The baby Omega balled Scott's shirt in his tiny fists and gnawed on his shoulder.
Mitch hopped out of the car and ran to be in front of Scott. He gaped at the sunset going down the horizon. "Alpha... It's beautiful."
Scott stared at Mitch and Cody whined to be put down. He did so and the baby started throwing the sand around. He watched Mitch for another few moments as he enjoyed the view and he went back to the car. He picked up the other two of the triplets and carried them inside the rental cabin.
Scott set the babies on the couch and let them continue to sleep before going back outside. He didn't see Mitch and Cody in their original spot but spotted them playing with the wet sand closer to the waves.
Scott watched them for another moment before gathering their suitcases and carrying them inside. He heard a cry of fear and rushed back outside, only to see Mitch trying to get Cody to step into the water.
"No! Mean!" Cody shrieked then turned around, stomping through the sand towards Scott. Scott crouched down and picked up the sniffling baby then walked toward Mitch who was gathering his and Cody's shoes off the sand.
"Why are you being mean to my son?" Scott asked.
"I was trying to get him to come in the water but he wouldn't. He's scared." Mitch said, trying to take Cody back but the baby shook his head and held onto Scott tighter. "Baby, it's just water! It's not going to hurt you."
"Come on, it's getting dark. I still have to get some things out of the car." Mitch followed Scott into the cabin and saw Bailey and Quinn sleeping on the couch.
Mitch explored the cabin briefly then went to gather sheets and blankets from the car. He shut the locked the door once he was done unloading and went to set up the triplets bed in one of the smaller rooms.
He went back to the living room and moved Bailey and Quinn from the couch to the bedroom, laying them down and tucking them under the fresh sheets.
He made sure the babies were still fast asleep then halfway closed the door and went on a search for Scott and Cody. The two were in the kitchen as Scott unpacked their cooler of food into the fridge and Cody sat on the counters, gnawing on animal crackers.
"Alpha. Think we can get this one to b-e-d soon?" Mitch asked, rounding the fridge and looking down at Scott.
"Tired?"
"Needy."
Scott stood up and shut the fridge, Mitch grinning up at him. "I'll think about it."
"Rude." Mitch giggled when Scott pinched his bum and he went to pick Cody off the counter. The Omega whined and reached over to Scott. "You're both being rude to me again."
"You tried to get him eaten by the ocean monsters." Scott smirked, walking over and taking Cody. "Isn't that right baby? Mommy's being mean to you." He cooed at Cody who giggled.
"Sleepy!" Cody babbled, grabbing Scott's beard and placing a very wet kiss to his chin.
"Alright, bubby, let's get you to bed with your sisters."
Mitch watched the two leave with a smile on his face and he continued to clean up and unpack a few boxes.
