Double because it's Christmas!

Scott grabbed onto one of the sides of the casket and started walking with the others towards the graveyard. As he was walking, he looked up to see Mitch staring at him with wide eyes. He looked forward and continued walking until he was ordered to set down near a hole. He gave a silent prayer to the casket before going to stand beside Mitch. He got into his normal position, feet at shoulder width and his hands clamped behind his back with his back straightened out as he stared forward.
Mitch peered at Scott's positon and did his best to replicate it, staring at the set of caskets sitting around the graveyard. He felt several pairs of eyes on him and did his best to ignore it.
"Move your hands up a bit." Scott muttered quietly. Mitch did so immediately and felt the eyes peel away from him. He then felt a hat beind placed over his eyes and he jumped then went to toy with it but felt Scott's lips near his ear.
"Lieutenant gave me a spare hat to put on you. Let me place it correctly." Mitch stood still as Scott positioned the hat correctly and he looked up with a wide smile.
-
Scott watched the last casket being lowered into the ground and he took in a deep breath, releasing his positon and looking towards Mitch whose face was bright red.
"You don't have to be that focused, Omega." Scott gently grasped Mitch's arm.
"Oh thank goodness, I was losing breath." Mitch took in a deep breath and relaxed his muscles. "What's happening now?"
"Nothing. It's done. Time to go back home and relax."
"Really?"
"Yep. We can pick up some sweets at the supermarket on our way back." Scott rested his hand on Mitch's shoulder and lead him out of the graveyard.
-
"My feetsies hurt, Alpha." Mitch whined when the pair finally got home.
"How come?" Scott set down the grocery bags in the kitchen and made sure the front door was locked.
"We've been walking around all day.. " Mitch groaned, sitting on the bar stool and staring at Scott as he started putting away groceries. He then shot up from his seat and grabbed the canned goods from Scott's hands. "Let me do this, Alpha."
Scott stared at Mitch for a moment. "Go sit back down, Omega. I can do this, plus you're too short to reach some of these cabinets."
"I'm only 5'3!" Mitch said, covering his mouth immediately. "I-I'm sorry Alpha, I didn't mean to talk back or raise my voice!" He squeaked.
"Hey, calm down, it's alright." Scott said, grabbing Mitch's shoulders and bending down to be eye level with him. "A lot of rules don't apply in this house hold, okay?"
"Like?"
"We can talk about it later. I have to start dinner."
"But-"
"Mitch, go sit on the couch."
"You said that -"
"Now, Omega!" Scott said sharply, earning a gasp from Mitch. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath before grabbing a box of ice cream sandwiches and turning away from Mitch to put the box in the freezer.
Mitch swallowed the lump in his throat and slowly made his way into the living room. He sat on the couch and kicked his shoes off before bringing his legs up on the couch and hugging them to his chest. Scott stared at him from the kitchen and sighed heavily before walking over.
"Hey... I didn't mean to yell at you like that." Scott said, sitting on the couch next to Mitch and bringing Mitch into his embrace. Mitch wanted to refuse the gesture but crawled on Scott's lap and cuddled in his chest.
"I'm sorry for refusing your orders, Alpha." Mitch replied, staring at his nails and picking at the paint. He didn't want to ruin his painted nails so he set his hands in his lap.
"It's alright. We all make mistakes and we learn from them. I just have a bit of an anger issue. I've been learning to control it though so I won't be snapping at you very often." Scott chuckled awkwardly.
Mitch looked up before resting his head on Scott's shoulder. "I'll do better to listen to orders without arguing."
Scott smiled and rubbed Mitch's back. He reached for the television remote and set it in Mitch's hands. "Choose a movie to watch, I'll put the rest of the groceries up, finish dinner and we can eat in here."
-
By the time the movie was done, Scott had fallen asleep with his dirty bowl in his lap and his arm thrown around Mitch's shoulders. Mitch stared up at Scott for a moment before grabbing their two bowls and washing them in the sink.
He cleaned his hands and went back over to the couch, gently shaking Scott's shoulder. "Alpha? It's time for bed." He spoke quietly. Scott's heavy breathing turned into snores and Mitch pouted.
Mitch went into the guest room where he found a pillow and a folded blanket sitting on the bed. He grabbed the two items and hurried back into the living room. He saw Scott standing in the middle of the room, stretching his arms and letting out a groan.
Scott took in his surroundings and turned to see Mitch standing in the living room entrance. "Isn't it bed time?"
Mitch giggled and set the pillow and blanket on the couch "You fell asleep on the couch." He turned off the television and grabbed Scott's hand to help him into the bedroom. There, he helped Scott strip down to his boxers and gently tucked him into the bed.
"You're not staying?" Scott asked, seeing Mitch leaving the room.
"I'm going to make sure the apartment is clean and sleep on the couch, Sir."
"The apartment is fine and the couch isn't good for sleeping. Come lay down." Scott stood up and shut the bedroom door. He helped Mitch with taking off his flannel and stopped when he was about to reach his pants. "Un dress and come lay with me. It'll be alright."
Mitch did as he was told and laid on the bed, watching for Scott to return from using the toilet to cuddle up to him. "Thank you, Alpha."
Scott ran his fingernails across Mitch's bare back and the Omega soon fell asleep at the touch.
