"Da!" Cody squealed loudly, running to Scott as soon as he let out of Kevin's arm. Scott got on his knee, catching Cody when he tripped and he stood up, tossing Cody in the air and catching him again.
"There's my baby! I missed you!" Scott blew a raspberry on Cody's cheek, the baby Omega giggled and kicking his feet, squealing happily when he was thrown in the air again. Bailey walked over and hugged Scott's leg, Quinn ignoring him and going to Mitch instead.
"She's not happy her competition is back." Mitch teased, kissing Quinn who laughed.
"There are certain things I get from you she doesn't so I'm happy with what I got," Scott said seductively making Mitch's eyebrow raise.
"So, you smell better. Smell less stressed." Avi said as he came in with the three seated stroller.
"Thanks. I've done a lot a work in just a few weeks. I'll tell you about it later." Scott said with a smile.
Mitch patted Scott's rear end. "Come on, Alpha. I want you to help me make dinner." he set down Quinn and she found the dog, squealing loudly and running over.
Midge looked up from where he was laying down and sniffed Quinn before sitting up and licking her hands. Quinn giggled, hopping around.
Scott set down Cody and watching him and Bailey get to their feet and run to the living room. He made sure the kids were okay then went into the kitchen, seeing Mitch taking an apron off a hook and tying it on.
"Look at you, cutie. When did you get that?" Scott said, walking around Mitch and hitting his butt hard enough for Mitch to feel the burn but not hard enough for the others to hear in the living room.
"A few days ago when shopping for groceries with Matt. Do you like?" Mitch did a small spin then giggled, reaching into the cabinets and pulling out a bowl.
"I love." Scott waited for Mitch to pull all the ingredients for his dinner out to the counters. "So, what are we making?"
"I want you to make that yummy cheesy bread you make so well and I'm going to make some homemade chili."
"Yummy. Sounds good."
-
"Promise they'll stay asleep?" Scott asked, slowly shutting the door to the guest room. He turns around to Mitch who was fiddling with his phone.
"Yep. I have the baby monitor hooked to my phone so it'll ring if they make some noise. Are you ready?" Mitch tucked his phone into his small backpack then put it on.
Scott grabbed Mitch's hand and the two left the house. Scott unlocked the rental and helped Mitch into the passenger seat. He shut the door when Mitch was in then got into the driver's seat.
"So, you found a car that lets you drive left footed?"
"Yeah, it costs a bit extra but luckily my military discounts let me pay for it normally. "I already have a car in waiting for me, it's just being modified and tested before I can pay for the rest of it."
"So I can't learn to drive?" Mitch pouted as Scott started the drive out of the neighborhood.
"Maybe I'll let Kevin teach you since I'm not driving right footed."
"Really?" Mitch perked up.
Scott smiled and nodded. "Yeah. I'll think about it, love."
-
"Mint?" Scott asked, looking up at the menu.
"Just strawberry please," Mitch called back, listening carefully for his phone. He heard the cash register ring and Scott came back to the table, handing Mitch his strawberry milkshake. He sat down across the brunette and stared at him, Mitch looking up and jumping.
"Sorry, I'm just a bit worried. I don't want to leave them alone for so long." Mitch hummed.
"We can go back home if you'd like, love. I don't mind. I'm sure the others won't mind if we take a day off tomorrow." Mitch hummed and sipped his milkshake then stood up, offering his hand to Scott who took his finished milkshake- already paid for- from the worker then followed Mitch to their car. Scott set his cup on the hood then grabbed Mitch's hips, lifting him onto the car then crawling next to him. He heard a creak and he stopped then turned on his rear.
"You broke the hood, you fatty." Mitch teased, poking Scott's tummy.
"Hey, I'm not fat, it's muscle!" Scott pinched Mitch's arm then smiled and kissed him on the cheek.
"I know, Alpha. I'm just teasing you." Mitch sipped his drink slowly, resting his head on Scott's shoulder until he was done.
"Ready to go home?"
"Yes, sir." Mitch scooted off the hood then took his and Scott's drinks to the trashcan nearby. He got back to see Scott hopping off the car, a dent the size of his butt imprinted in the metal.
Scott shrugged. "I'll just take a plunger to it."
