"My cooking teacher in high school always told us, 'Eat what you want, just cook it at home'. It's better than eating out every night." Kevin shrugged, sliding a grilled cheese onto a cutting board.
"Maybe you can teach, Alpha Scott." Mitch chuckled.
"Scott knows how to cook, he's just lazy." Kevin prepared another sandwich and left it on the pan as he went to cutting board. "But he does know how to ration fast food between cooked food so he maintains a healthy diet." Kevin cut up the grilled cheese and reached over the bar counter to put it on Mitch's plate.
"So what did you use in this?" Mitch asked, taking a bite and wincing as he burned his mouth and had to put the sandwich down. Kevin handed Mitch a napkin and quickly grabbed a cold water bottle from the fridge.
"Monsieur cheese, cheddar cheese, and either bacon or ham. I figure you'd like bacon more." Kevin turned back to the stove.
Mitch held up the water bottle to his mouth and watched as Kevin cooked in front of the stove, small sweat beads forming on his shoulders and his cheeks from the heat. He then looked away when Kevin brought the sandwich to the cutting board and started eating his grilled cheese.
-
"Mitch, not to sound rude or anything, but you don't have any Omega friends?" Kevin asked.
"No, Sir. I'm not good at making friends. Any friends I had were at the Shelter. Who knows if they're already in Packs or not." Mitch mumbled quietly.
Kevin nodded and stood up. "Want to go with me tonight? We both could go somewhere, hang out."
"I don't know if Alpha Scott would let me... He's very protective."
Kevin chuckled "As expected. Don't worry I'll call and ask. If you want, you can go shower."
Mitch hummed to himself. Kevin noticed his frown and tickled his cheek lightly.
"What's that face for?"
"Well, the only thing I brought with me was a dress and jammies."
"You can wear a dress, Mitch. It's alright. Do shower and get ready."
Mitch smiled and thanked Kevin quietly before hurrying up the steps to the guest bathroom. Kevin watched him leave and waited for the bathroom door to shut to run his hands over his face.
"Just find Mitch a few friends. You're not out for you. It's too early for that."
After Kevin had changed into a more casual outfit, he saw Mitch poking his head out of the bathroom, his hair in a small towel that was propped on his head. "Yes?"
"Um... I know this may be weird but... Alpha Scott always helps me shave my legs and..."
"Oh. That's fine. Do you have something on?" Kevin took his button up off to leave himself in a muscle shirt.
"Boxers. Do you want me to put something else on?"
"No. It's alright. May I come in?" Mitch nodded and backed away. He let out a soft giggle when Kevin lifted him onto the bathroom counter and he rested his back against the steamy mirror. He pointed to his travel bag where his toiletries laid in a ziploc bag.
Kevin got out the bag and took the razor and scented shaving cream. He shaved Mitch's legs carefully, making sure to get under his knee as much as he could.
"You're very good at this, Alpha." Mitch said. Rubbing his smooth leg and applying aftershave lotion as Kevin did his other leg.
"I used to help Kirstie shave so it's not my first time." Kevin mumbled, running the razor under the sink faucet to rid it of the hair.
"Kevin, I hope you know you're a good Alpha. Kirstie would talk about you alot. Almost as much as I talk about Alpha Scott. She loved you alot. She never for one second, thought you didn't feel the same. After every punishment she received, you always gifted her the next day with candy or a stuffed bear. She always regretted the moment she snapped or was bad and would want to make it up to you. She never would want to leave you even if you were mean and rude. She cared for you. She would see the good in you when you were mad at Avi or just life in general. She pulled you out of your sad moments and made sure to comfort you so you would feel just as loved as she felt. She loved you, Alpha. She always will." Mitch said. He leaned down and kissed the top of Kevin's head. He then winced as Kevin cut him with the razor but he noticed his hands were shaking so he didn't mind.
"Oh sh- I'm sorry, Mitch. Hold on." Kevin stood up and dropped the razor on the floor as he looked through the medicine cabinet.
"Alpha. It's alright. Calm down." Mitch grabbed Kevin's arm and pulled him away from the cabinet. He grabbed a box of the clear Band-Aids and put it on his cut before hopping off the counter. "Wait in the living room for me while I get dressed?"
Kevin nodded and did his best to clear his head. "A-Alright. I'll be on the couch when you're ready."
