Joshua climbed on the ladder, to tie the lights to the the little hooks left of last year's decoration.
It made Tyler nervous, seeing the man climb up so high on that fragile ladder, with everything being so wet and slippery.

When the ladder shifted a tiny little bit, Tyler's heart nearly gave out and he jumped forward and wrapped his clothed hands around the ladder. "B-be careful J-Joshua", he stuttered nervously. "D-don't want y-you to get hurt", he muttered afterwards.

Within seconds Joshua stepped down and smiled softly. He gently booped Tyler's nose with his indexfinger. "Thanks, sweets."

Tyler, ofcourse, just blushed like crazy and shyly got hold of Joshua's cold hands, and surrounded them by his soft pink mittens. "Y-your hands are c-cold", he mumbled while gently rubbing the backs of Joshua's hands.

"You're adorable. Did you know that?" Joshua freed one of his hands and tilted Tyler's head up to face him, with a finger underneath his chin.
"Am not", his cheeks burning red.
"Yes. You are. Don't let anyone make you think you're not." Joshua smiled.

"C'mon, Lets hang the lights at the front of the house." Tyler nodded, happy that Joshua broke the (for Tyler) uncomfortable silence.

Joshua finished the lights soon, so the last task was to light up de outside Christmas tree. So he focused on getting in the outdoor lights, and Tyler decorated the tree with big white and gold ribbons.

When they were both finished they stepped back to judge their own creation. The three looked so pretty decorated like this and Tyler giggled happily. "So pretty!"

Joshua laughed, but suddenly stopped. "Oh!"
Tyler looked at him questioningly. "We forgot something", the man told as he walked back to the garage. "Wait right there!"

Tyler got a little nervous, but he didn't know why. He always got nervous over the tiniest things. He didn't like surprises but trusted Joshua to not scare him.

He saw bubblegum hair popping back up from behind the tree. Joshua faced Tyler, smile still in place, hands hidden behind his back.
"W-what you got? S-show me!" Tyler chuckled excitedly.

Joshua revealed the huge shining star, shimmering pink and white and gold. Tyler gasped when he saw it, so sparkly! "You wanna put it on top of the tree?" Joshua asked. "Y-yes please!" Tyler squeaked.

The tree wasn't that big, and Tyler tried, standing on the tip of his toes. "I'm too s-small", he pouted. Joshua turned his back to him and squatted down. "Climb on!"
Tyler giggled when he jumped on Joshua's back, for a second forgetting he should be so nervous about touching Joshua like this!

After a second Tyler froze. He swore he felt Joshua's muscles through both of their layers of clothing, making his heart stutter. He clamped his legs around Joshua's waist, his arms around his neck. He was so close to the bubblegum hair, he was so overwhelmed, feeling so much, everything tingled.

"You gonna put that star up there, or do you just like being carried?" Joshua laughed while waiting, his hands supporting under Tyler's thighs. The boy tensed under feeling Joshua's hands, and quickly pressed the star on top of the tree. "D-done!"

He kept tensing when he felt Joshua's hands squeeze his thighs slightly. "Looks good! Let's get inside and warm up", Joshua answered walking towards the house with Tyler still locked onto his back.

Tyler's breathing hitched. He didn't need to warm up. He was warm. Inside. Burning. Everything glowed. Everything tingled. Also down there again.
He kinda hoped Joshua would put him down fast, but also wanted to feel Joshua's strong hands on so many more places. He blushed. Again.
