Tyler grabbed his phone when he heard it buzz, happy something distracted him from his boring homework.

The boy smiled, dimples in his cheeks forming as they pretty much did every time he got a text from Joshua. It was wednesday now, and he hadn't seen Joshua since sunday. Tyler really wanted to, but was to shy to text first. Because... what should he say?
Joshua did text Tyler pretty much every day. Even if it was only a goodnight text. Tyler loved those the most, they made him feel warm and fuzzy when he was in bed at night and he would fall asleep with a smile frozen on his face.

Joshua:
Hi! Got plans this fridaynight? x

Tyler squealed softly, already excited for the possibility of seeing the pink hued man again. He quickly typed a response.

Tyler:
Hi :) no..?

Joshua:
The band and I gotta play a venue nearby friday, wanna come?

The smaller boy hesitated. He often got nervous in gatherings of people and he didn't want to be a burden to Joshua and if the man was playing was he just gonna be alone? Because then he would be so very anxious and so maybe he should stay at home?

Tyler:
Um, are ya sure you want me to be there? I mean I don't think i'll be that good of a company.

There was no instant reply, making Tyler regret his answer immediatly. He sighed and dropped his head on his desk. Why was he so STUPID? The man must think of him of such a whimp and he was gonna think he was weird and Joshua definitely wasn't going to like him if he was going to be pathetic like this.

A million thoughts later (what means maybe two minutes) Tyler's phone buzzed and kept buzzing and Tyler saw Joshua's name pop up on the screen (maybe surrounded with little bubblegum-pink hearts).
Tyler hated phone calls. It made him so nervous and he felt his hands get clammy and he didn't know how to answer it, and he didn't know what to say, and he would only stutter annnnd... the ringing was over. He sighed. Slightly relieved, mostly annoyed with himself.

Joshua:
Ty, I know you hate phonecalls but please just pick up, it's okay, it's just me

Tyler watched the message, his heart melting a little at the words, but nerves still kicking in.

And then his phone lit up again. After a few deep breaths he shakily pressed the green answering button and he put his phone to his ear.

"Hi?"
"Hey Ty. You okay?"

"I-i'm o-okay."
"Will you please come friday?"

"B-but then i'd have to g-go all by my-myself and I'm gonna b-be sitting alone a-and with all the p-people the-"
"Tyler, no. I want you to come with us."

"..."
"Sweets, I won't just let you come and sit alone. You can see it from like backstage. You don't have to be in the crowd. You'll be with me."

"Oh."
"Does 'oh' mean yes?"

"W-well won't y-your friends mind i-if I-"
"Nope, we're all good."

"Oh."
"I'm really gonna take that 'oh' as a 'yes' now."

"Okay. But I gotta ask my mom."
"Sure, sweets! I'll text details later then."

"Okay."
"So, goodnight cutie." (Tyler chuckled)
"G-goodnight Joshua."
