He had been to anxious to tell his mom about the whole boyfriend-thing yesterday. He helped her preparing some snacks for church dinner today. It was 5:30 am and Tyler was wide awake.

He smiled. Just because he couldn't get it off his face anymore, ever since he left Joshua's house. Joshua's boyfriend. But he didn't feel so proud for the fact that he had been to scared to tell his mom (even though he knew she would love it) and he hadn't asked her about dinner at Joshua's yet. He sighed as he grabbed his phone, his heart jumping as he saw a text from Joshua from last night.

Hey baby, can you let me know tomorrow before 10 if dinner is still on? I need to go shopping and have a show to play later. Xxx

First, he giggled softly, cheeks pink at Joshua calling him 'baby'. But apart from that, Tyler felt bad, he promised to let Joshua know last night but he got so anxious.

Tyler:
Msorry, I got too anxious to tell my mom and I didn't ask her... I will tell her with breakfast and let you know. M sorry, sorry! 💕

He got up right away, sliding his phone in the pocket of his sweatpants, shuffeling down the stairs to start breakfast and surprise his mom. Only he was the one surprised to bump into his mom as soon as he went in the kitchen. "Momma!" He nearly jumped and so did she. 
She grinned. "Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you", and she kissed his forehead.

"You're up early?" She asked as she pushed the spatula into his hand and pointed at the pan on the stove. "I-I couldn't s-sleep", he mumbled turning the bacon in the frying pan.

He noticed his mom looking over his shoulder, and he quickly locked his phone and put it back in his pocket. "That's a lot of hearts Tyler", his mom chuckled. He huffed "y-you c-can't just r-read my m-messages, m-momma!" She defended herself while laughing, "Hey! I only saw a lot of hearts, thats all."

The boy played with the bacon a bit, before looking upto his mom. "Momma?"
"Hmm", she hummed, trying to flip a pancake.
"Joshua's my boyfriend now." He couldn't help but giggle after he said that.

His mom dropped the spatula she was holding to the floor, jumping up and clapping before pulling him in for a hug. "Yay, I'm so happy for you Ty!" She let him go, noticing his pink cheeks again. "He's one lucky man, sweetheart." She winked. Tyler disagreed, it was him who was the lucky one here. But he just nodded and smiled.

"Joshua a-asked if y-you a-and me w-want to c-come for dinner t-the 26th... H-he will c-cook for us." His mom smiled. "Really? That's so sweet! Ofcourse we'll be there. Ask him if we need to bring anything."

Tyler smiled, excited already. "I s-should get h-him a p-present!" He squeaked, suddenly realizing it. He quickly grabbed his phone first texting Joshua.

Tyler:
Mom says ofcourse we will be there. She also askes if we need to bring anything :)

"Momma? I-I really really really n-need a-a p-present f-for Joshua."  He stated again, quickly getting the bacon off the heat before burning it. "What are you thinking of Tyler? You don't have much time.." the boy got nervous, bouncing from one leg to another. "I-I d-don't k-know!!"

"Okay, okay, Tyler relax. We'll have breakfast first, then we'll get to the mall and go find something." The boy plopped down on a chair immediatly. "H-hurry, momma!"
