"Hey beautiful!" Joshua grinned big when Tyler opened the door. The boy smiled back, struck once again by the man's radiating smile.

Tyler couldn't hide the fact that he already had missed seeing him so to Joshua's clear surprise Tyler nearly jumped forward to hug him. Joshua just folded his big, welcoming arms around the boy. Joshua chuckled, "how did I deserve this already? We're not even out yet." Tyler shrugged after he had let go and his cheeks colored a beautiful soft pink. "I-I'm just h-happy to s-spend the d-day with you." He answered as he twirled his toes into the rug shyly.

"Ugh, you're so cute", Joshua let out an exaggerated whine and pulled Tyler closer by his hands on the boy's cheeks. He kissed the boy briefly before he quickly let go as Tyler's mom walked into the hallway. "Bye boys! Have fun!" She waved before she walked upstairs.

"So a-are you g-going to tell m-me where we're g-going?" Tyler asked curiously as they drove off. "You like christmas right?" Tyler nodded. "Good. So there's this big christmas fair in town with food and stalls, music." Joshua checked for Tyler's reaction. "I think you will like it." The boy gleamed.

They walked around the incredible looking market. There were christmas trees and lights everywhere, the whole event was decorated beautifully and there were little choirs singing christmas carols. There were a lot of people, and Tyler got a little anxious, but Joshua noticed as soon as they stepped in to the crowded street, and got a tight grip on Tyler's hand, fingers locked together.

The fair was huge and they walked around for quite a while, playing little games and having some snacks. And Joshua couldn't stop himself from buying Tyler a enormous teddy bear that the boy now carried around in both his arms. He did get a little tired, being sick earlier this week had taken quite some energy. Joshua swung his arm around Tyler's shoulder and held him close. It was almost 4pm and he saw the boy getting a bit tired.

"You know what?" He gently squeezed Tyler's neck. "I wanted to take you iceskating, but how about pizza and christmas movies instead?" Tyler felt like he was letting Joshua down, being ungrateful and too tired to do so. "N-no, we c-can still g-go?" But Joshua wasn't convinced and smiled. "Hmnahh, we can do that another time. I feel like spending some time alone with you anyway...", Joshua almost whispered into Tyler's ear and the boy's heart forgot how to beat normally.
