Tyler met two other guys too, who weren't really in the band but played with them since they hadn't found the right bandmembers yet. He forgot their names the very second after they introduced theirself. He was just so focused on making sure Joshua wouldn't get out of sight.

He helped the guys carrying in their equipment, and just sat back a little when they build up their gear on the stage. When they finished it was about an hour until the doors would open, and most of the guys and crew of the venue were backstage.

Joshua sat behind his drums, doing tricks with the drumsticks and absentmindedly playing different tunes to perfection. Tyler watched in awe, sitting crossed legged on the stage. The pink curls from underneath the beanie danced as Joshua bounced on his stool. His bottom lip disappeared under his upper teeth plenty of times, what made Tyler's heart skip a beat and lips tingle.

"Want to give it a try?" Joshua asked suddenly, and Tyler had to blink a few times to get out of his trance. "W-what, the d-drums?" Joshua nodded and reached his drumsticks out towards Tyler. "N-no, I d-don't know how to p-play the drums."

"I'll show you. C'mere", Joshua stood up and gestured towards his seat. Hesitantly Tyler crawled up and walked over to Joshua, who told him to sit down. The man stood behind him, giving him a drumstick in each hand. Tyler carefully folded his fingers around them, and Joshua closed his larger hands on top of them. He squatted down behind the boy, and started to tell him passionately about the drums and guiding his hands towards allthe different ones.

Tyler loved listening to him, but didn't really hear a word he said, forgetting the name of each drum in an instant. He just loved how excited Joshua sounded, his warm caramel voice rambling on, soothing his nerves.

Joshua smiled when he was done with his explanation. "I talk too much when it comes to drums. Sorry. You can forget all that."
"N-no I like it. Y-you're so t-talented and p-passionate." Tyler smiled shyly. "I c-can only p-play a little p-piano", he added softly.

"Really? Can you play me something?" Joshua's eyes lit up, music was his favorite subject to talk about and to play it was even better. "A-are you s-sure it's okay i-if I play their k-keyboard?"
Joshua nodded, "ofcourse!"

So Tyler sat down behind the keyboard, touching it, feeling it to get to know it. He looked up to Joshua for confirmation that it was really okay, but Joshua had laid down on the floor on his back, eyes closed so Tyler just started playing.

He played his song for the first seconds. His own song, a song that had lyrics too but he was too shy to tell or sing. So to avoid any questions he merged the song into a Elton John cover, but with his own pace and Joshua just laid there, faint smile on his lips.

"You're really good Ty. Really good. That was beautiful", Joshua praised when Tyler stopped. "T-Thanks", he muttered, promising himself he would once tell Joshua about his own song.

"So, you can either stay there during the show", Joshua pointed at a small seat just next to the stage, between crew and gear. "Or like here, in front of the stage but then you're like in the crowd."
"I wanna s-stay here w-with you", Tyler answered quickly, panic rising. He didn't want to go in the crowd, please no.
"Okay. Okay. But you just won't have the best view."
"I-I can see you j-just perfectly", Tyler replied and Joshua smirked.
