Tyler woke up early that morning, or at least he thought it was early, because he could only see faint light coming from the curtains. He couldn't actually turn to see the clock, that just hurt too bad. He had to pee too. Great. Slightly glancing over towards Joshua, but the man was sleeping, his back turned towards the boy. Tyler sighed. He didn't want to disturb him, so he just had to figure out a way to get out of bed himself.

He tried to be really quiet, but with the trying and tossing and turning he eventually couldn't help but let go of a painful groan. And he still wasn't even up yet. Joshua turned, rubbing his eyes to get a better vision and understanding of what was going on. "Need help, Ty?" He spoke, his voice raspy and hoarse and sleepy and Tyler loved it even more than his normal sweet caramel sound. "N-no, y-you just get to s-sleep."
Joshua yawned, before pushing away the covers and sitting up. He ran a hand through his messed up curls, before standing up. "W-what are you d-doing, y-you can g-go sleep. I'm just-." Tyler stopped talking as he saw Joshua looking at him, arms crossed over his chest. "Sure", the man answered, but walking towards Tyler anyway and offering his hands out for Tyler to grab onto. The boy sighed, admitted defeat and pulled himself up with a grunt.

Once at the bathroom Joshua got another set of painkillers out, yawning again, and then left Tyler alone at the bathroom. He took his pills, emptied his bladder and shuffeled back. Joshua was sitting up against the headboard, eyes sleepy, but still awake. "S-sorry for waking y-you up", Tyler mumbled as he got back to the bed. Joshua smiled. "Doesn't matter, sweets", he answered as he observed Tyler getting back to bed on his own. Once Tyler was down, Joshua slid back under the sheets too. "Only too bad I had to wake up from a good dream", Joshua whispered as he softly brushed his fingers through Tylers hair and over his face. "G-good dream?"
"Yeah. I dreamed about you", Joshua chuckled.
"Y-you did? What did you d-dream?"
"Hmm.. just... good stuff baby", he chuckled again.
"Oh. S-sorry then.."
"Stop saying sorry, alright? And seeing you in real life is better than any dream, Ty." Joshua scooted closer to Tyler, pressing little kisses on the boy's cheek.
"You think you can get back to sleep? It'll be good for you. It is only 5:30 am."
"C-cuddle?" The boy tried again making Joshua laugh.
"Sleep, Ty. I'll cuddle and take care of you aaallll day today", he grinned. He kissed him again, nuzzling his face in Tyler's neck.

Joshua fell asleep quickly, his face against the boy's shoulder, his breath causing a warm breeze over Tylers chest. He must've been tired from a week in a hotel and then the travelling, sleeping so peacefully, but Tyler couldn't sleep anymore. The pain wasn't too bad, he was just awake. For a while he just closed his eyes, listening and feeling Joshua breathing, carefully playing with one of his stray curls. And no matter how much he loved having Joshua cuddled up to him, he was really done with laying down after a while.

So he scooted carefully towards the edge of the bed, and with a lot of effort stood up. He glanced at the clock. 7:10 am.

He looked back at Joshua who had only shortly stirred in his sleep while Tyler got up. His heart skipped a beat everytime, his brain still incapabele of believing he got to call him his boyfriend. He knew it was real, but he kept on wondering how on Earth he was so lucky. He could honestly cry, so full was his heart, and he hated the fact that him getting hurt actually hurt Joshua too. He wished he could do something for Joshua for once, in stead of the other way around. He sighed softly, almost giving in to the urge of crawling back in bed and wrap himself around the man. But the little move he did reminded him of his bruises and he shook his head softly.

There was one thing he could do now. Breakfast. He smiled to himself softly. Even though he felt extremely uncomfortable at the feeling of rummaging through Joshua's kitchen alone, he also realized Joshua would really be fine with it. He stood up, grabbing a sweater and slipping it on gently before heading for the door. Softly he opened it, glancing back once more to his sleeping boyfriend, before sliding out and closing it again.
