Tyler couldn't remember if he'd ever been this scared to go back to school. Obviously he was always scared to go, but right now even more. The two boys messing up Joshua's house had been arrested, gotten some community service, and were only allowed to go to school and to their 'jobs'. Also they had to do some sort of training Tyler wasn't sure of what it was exactly. But, he was pretty certain they wouldnt bother him too much.

But there was one big other problem. Dallon.
They couldn't proof he was connected to the vandalism and since the guys didnt sell him out, he got off perfectly well. But Tyler expected him not to be too excited about all of it.

So day by day went by, and Tyler turned into a nervous wreck. He had trouble eating because of the contant sick feeling in his stomach, his hands were clammy and trembling, and breathing got so difficult once he started thinking about it too much.

As if living in a miracle, nothing had happened for the first four days of the week. Friday went by without any troubles too, until the last few seconds he stepped out of the school. Just before he could open the heavy doors, just before he would be able to see Joshua waiting for him, his safety, his lifeline, a bony hand grabbed his shoulder. Tyler gasped as he then held his breath, heart racing and eyes wide. Oh no.

A warm breath his his cheek, making his skin crawl, disgust dripping down his face. "You'd might reconsider coming back next week Joseph, this isn't over yet."
To Tylers relief Dallon did let go of him after he hissed it into his ear, but it didnt really mean he was okay now. He couldn't contain himself as he pushed the doors open, tears immediatly streaming over his pale white cheeks.

As soon as he got down the steps he could see Joshua with his bright yellow curls dancing in the wind. He saw the brightest smile drop into a concerned frown when Joshua saw Tylers teared up face. The older quickly stepped forward towards Tyler, holding him close to his chest as Tyler clamped himself around Joshua's torso, sobbing sadly.

Joshua's eyes immediatly scanned the surroundings to see Dallon or the others, but they were nowhere to he seen.
"Hey hey", he whispered, as he rubbed the boys back with one hand, as the other gently pressed Tylers cheek onto his chest.
"Baby, what's wrong, are you hurt?" Joshua nuzzled his nose into the younger's hair, his grip involuntarily tightning when he saw Dallon step out of the school.

Tyler didnt reply, and eventually let Joshua guide him to the passengers side of the car. Tyler held on to the older even tighter as Joshua had opened the door for him to step in. He gently pulled Tylers arms away from him, but Tyler whined. "We'll be home soon, but you have to let go of me for a second. Okay, hun?"

Slowly nodding Tyler climbed into the seat. After he buckled up, he pulled up his legs and when Joshua got in on the other side his heart ached seeing Tyler curled up into a little ball. He had no idea what happened yet, and all he wanted now was just to be home and somehow make him feel better.

"Just a couple of minutes more", he whispered, trying not to drive too fast. Tyler only cried more, the brunette didnt know what to do anymore, he didnt know how to get through those last two weeks of school, he didnt know.

Joshua quickly got out of his car, already noticing the panic on Tylers face as he opened his door. "Careful", he mumbled as he scooped Tyler out of his carseat, the boy crying uncontrolably again. He carried him inside, and shut the door softly.

"You got to stand for a second baby", he muttered as he put Tyler down. Quickly getting himself and Tyler out of coats and shoes, Tyler already clinging to him again before he was even finished.

He ended up carrying him upstairs, as Tyler looked absolutely exhausted and Joshua decided the dark setting and maybe a nap could possibly calm him.
